Let's face it. The Republicans and their wealthy donors want Biden to fail. That Biden Agenda was a real threat to their wealth. Biden's Agenda was dead on arrival in congress. The bought and paid for turncoat democrats in the senate were the icing on the cake.

Even though Biden has really done nothing with his domestic agenda, the right had a full court press attacking him with their hate media. Everything bad is Biden's fault even though he has no control over gas prices and our present worldwide inflation. He gets no credit for the huge GDP growth or job growth and low Unemployment.

If the republicans regain control of congress then they win. No chance of changing the direction of the country. The greedy rich will just continue to gain more control of our government and amass more wealth while the 90% of Americans will continue to see their lifestyle diminish.

Personally I think it is inevitable. It's root hog or die. Get yours and screw the other guy. Not what America was built on.

Like the oil companies holding back production?

America could quite easily counter China and Russia and whoever else in the world and maintain superpower status if so many of its people weren't so ****ing stupid.

So easily manipulated into supporting the Democrat/Republican strange hold on power and especially the Republicans have put the country on a collision course for a severe downfall.

Democrats are bad, but Republicans are fully committed now to annihilating the nation.

They are sellout traitors as are the morons who support them.

C'mon now, oil prices aren't that simple. Our producers ramp up, OPEC will ramp down to where they're comfy.

Biden's nudging ours to ramp it up. Maybe a short term aid but probably not. Best get the **** onto cleaner/renewable ASAP (and I wouldn't mind leaning on nuke to do it)

I think the oil companies sign ten year leases after which time they 'lose it' anyway. But with the price of oil as high as it is, it is hard to imagine that oil companies would not exploit any field they felt held oil. But I would be all for the government taking back these unused leases and giving them to liberal know-it-alls who can go drill there themselves if there is so much money to be made.

Well even if we drill for domestic oil it is still priced on the world market. Opec controls the price. It only cost $2.80 a barrel for the Saudis to produce a barrel of oil. It cost $36 a barrel to produce a barrel of oil in America.

The Saudis killed the frackers by dropping the price below production cost. Then about the time oil prices recovered from that along came covid. First time oil futures ever went negative. Oil is a very volatile market. It should be no surprise American oil companies are reluctant to make the investment to ramp up production. Their banks and investors want them to be more cautious.

None of this has anything to do with Biden.

You are right of course but it's not what Fox is saying and there it ends......it's sad but true.
