“ Just as it's important to consider the socioeconomic status of a native”?
For what?
Why is this aspirational? Why architect society around a pillar which is already dysfunctional?
That isn't lucky. The support you got from those around you took EFFORT.I stand on the shoulders of a lot of people who sacrificed for me to have opportunities. Not everyone had the same support. In fact, most of the people I grew up around had little to no support at all. Many folks around my age were the first to attend college.
I was supremely lucky.
Most people would rather support their own kids than someone else’s. But if they do they’d rather it be their idea and not the government’s.
You did when you took a guess at what 'they' want by linking some white nationalistic 40 person homestead. What in the wide world of sports are you talking about?
I didn't assign anything to ANY population - white, black or otherwise.
I don’t think that’s going to go over too well with a judge: “Your Honor, many, many scientists say that I brutally raped and murdered Mrs. Croaker because I’m poor.”

1, No. 3 or more, yes. I think once the opportunities equalized, the road blocks were gone (not that all racism was gone) but now there was a path forward and legal protections for the racism people cry about today (that they evidently can't prove like the OP) Affirmative action started in the 60's , that is at a minimum 2 generations (working/college age individuals, and most likely 3)Do you think four hundred years of economic oppression vanishes in one generation? Weird thought to have.
Talk about lazy.no---there are reasons for the lopsided stats between races in America that go FAR beyond the simplicity/convenience of your thinking. In fact your way of thinking in this matter is grossly irresponsible (and lazy).....
They don't want to not be around minorities.Except all whites kind of do want that which is why they pay premium prices on housing and living conditions to explicitly avoid being around minorities. I understand its less explicit than what our friends in the article are doing out in the boonies, but something tells me our friends out in the boonies aren't making 6 figures a year to avoid the living situation in the first place.
You did when you took a guess at what 'they' want by linking some white nationalistic 40 person homestead.
Assigning that to all Democrats was a similar charge, sure. It's akin to stereotypes, true in some cases and stretched to cover all. Any argument can stretched that way. Racism. Blacks committing crimes. etcOr "democrats want to defund the police."?
Ok, I'll take you at your word.Wrong.
I was very obviously talking about a specific poster here, if you'd bothered to actually follow the conversation. I made absolutely no reference to "they".
Self inflicted. Black culture does it to themselves. What is the cause, conservatives?
Why do you think this is? Can you give an answer that isn’t racist or doesn't dance around the actual cause?
Self inflicted. Black culture does it to themselves.
If it were possible for black Americans to bring themselves up to the same standards as the rest of the country, don't you think they would have done it by now? That isn't lucky. The support you got from those around you took EFFORT.
MORE people should be giving that effort for thier loved ones/children/family I had very little in the way of financial support, but I did have involved parents who WANTED better for me even if they couldn't give financial tools to help. You evidently had it. Why don't others?
Without using excuses or justifications, why do you find it an impossible task for the black community to bring themselves up to a level of standard the rest of the country enjoys?
They don't want to not be around minorities.
They want to not be around the things that are common amongst those minorities.
It isn't the color of skin that is the issue, it's the behaviors.
Why punish women and their children simply for not being married?
They don't want to not be around minorities.

They have all the opportunity. But choose not to. I've seen it first hand too many times. If it were possible for black Americans to bring themselves up to the same standards as the rest of the country, don't you think they would have done it by now?
Sorry, but “not architecting society around an objectively dysfunctional social structure” is not “punishing women and their children for not being married”.
Do I think people in these situations should be able to live? Of course. Do I think we should incentivize it, or create an aspirational social class out of it? Absolutely not.
Then what's the cause?More racist dog whistling rather than addressing the cause.
You might want to step down on that statement when your white leader is currently the immoral perpetual victim Trump.
Then what's the cause?
Poverty is a symptom. Again self inflicted. Other minorities don't seem to have this problem.Poverty. Every study on criminality confirms that poverty is a most defining characteristic of criminality.
