Bin Laden: 'Moussaoui not 9/11 terrorist']

Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden has said Zacarias Moussaoui had nothing to do with 9/11, according to an internet audio tape.

Moussaoui, a 37-year-old Frenchman, was the only person convicted in a US court for the terrorist attacks which claimed several thousand lives in September 2001. He was sentenced to life in prison earlier this month.

The tape was shown on the website of US government contractor IntelCenter yesterday. A voice, purportedly that of bin Laden, also said the attacks had nothing to do with anyone held at Guantanamo Bay.

He said: "He had no connection at all with September 11. I am the one in charge of the 19 brothers and I never assigned brother Zacarias to be with them in that mission."

Do you know what this tells me? It tells me that Moussaoui was a terrorist. he may not have been in on the attacks on 9/11, but he IS a terrorist. Bin Laden just confirmed it. Not that we should believe anything HE says.

All this does is confirm what i've always believe. That Moussaoui is just a pretender, a wanna-be jihadist.

Do you know what this tells me? It tells me that Moussaoui was a terrorist. he may not have been in on the attacks on 9/11, but he IS a terrorist. Bin Laden just confirmed it. Not that we should believe anything HE says.

Why would you take Osama Bin Laden's words as validation for ANYTHING other than what Osama Bin Laden was thinking at a given moment?
