Billionaire Home Depot founder makes U-turn on Trump

The co-founder of retail giant Home Depot said he is 'sold on Trump' after slamming the president's tariffs as '[expletive]' months ago. Billionaire Ken Langone made the surprise about-face during an interview on CNBC's Squawk Box Tuesday , adding that Trump 'has a good shot at going down in history as one of our best presidents ever.'

This is PERFECT reason to never spend a single cent at Home Depot ever again.

Why? He no longer has a position at Home Depot. And while he does still own stock there (as do millions of other people), so does Arthur Blank, who is also a co-founder and endorsed Harris last year.

What would even be the point of that kind of boycott? To very, very slightly hurt the value of shares Langone still owns while also hurting the value of Democrats like Blank and millions of other people who have home depot shares as part of their portfolio?
 
Crappola zero was already all over this. Just another reason to buy from my local hardware store or Lowes.

He left Home Depot a long time ago. Boycotting them over his opinions doesn’t make much sense.
 
They have what I need and prefer their electrical products over Lowes supplier, so no...

I do not shop at Home Depot. I think they're a bunch of tools.

This is just icing on the cake.

He voted for Trump, as such, anything that he had anything to do with, is non grata.
 
I stopped shopping there a few years ago when they went all in on Trump.
 
You could make a comment similar to this on just about every name brand store in the US. Maybe not Trump specifically, but a good reason to boycott is easily available.

Lowes is busy removing all of their DEI programs due to pressure from conservatives. There are also allegations of benefit cuts for employees, as well as wage and hour law violations.
