Dems don't want anyone who might tell the two bit bandits in the UN to stuff it where the light don't shine.

Wow... sounds like the Dems are the smart ones then.

Because someone who is going to "tell the two bit bandits at the UN to stuff it" wouldn't be accomplishing ****.

So we might as well have nobody.

actually the guy was effective. George "the RINO" Voinoivich was against the guy and then issued an article recently saying we need Bolton. Can you fashion an argument against him other than "Lets get Bush"

Umm.. where the HELL did I say that?

It is a shame - Bolton had a backbone and the cahonies to not only to represent the United States but to stand up against the criminals!

Maybe the Democrats will agree to someone who will pull the chairs out for the rest of the U.N. so they can applaud and cheer when Chavez gives his next SATAN speech! either that or someone who will continue the Pre-Bolton tradition of U.N. butt-kissing and cow-tow-ing!

Bolton was definitely put there to wag the middle finger at the UN, that's for sure. I'm not so sure what that accomplishes but who cares? The UN is as worthless as teats on a bore hog.

Did you read the article?

Dems were not the only ones against voting for him.

My sentiments exactly. Lets get the US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US.

That, sir, seems to be an issue most here can agree on.

Yeah, but if we kicked out the UN now, Chavez would claim a victory. Go figure.

Guess what Dude....I found the Washington Post story here:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/19/AR2006071901788.html

Maybe next time you'll take the extra 45 seconds it took me to Google it and cut and paste the link so that your post has some semblance of creditability....

Jesus champs, does everyone now have to provide a link for every single point they make? No need to be a jerk about it simply because he was right.

LOL....
I agree, that was a little over the top

I'm a bit wary about believing this.

Not that the information presented in defense of the conclusion isn't believeable, but that I don't necessarily agree with their interpretation of it. It's still quite possible that Bolton could be confirmed after the recess, or that he could even be put up for another vote after the new Congress takes session, unless I'm mistaken.

Not saying that it will happen, but that when the Note is the only website to post this story/draw this conclusion, it doesn't necessarily mean that's the case.

Tis what happens when the leading nation throws the finger at them - aka plucking the teeth from the gaurd dog.
As for this story.... hmmm, we'll see.

Chavez, lol, hey chavez, go **** yourself.

I live in Ohio-if you want to keep up on what my senator here says, you can move here. I am not here to answer your requests. You have made several whoppers on other threads that you have not backed up with any evidence. You think I am lying about my state's senator, feel free to contradict me. I don't record every speech George V makes on 30 second newsbites nor do I save ever newspaper that carries articles about or written by him

Haven't you figured out I really don't care what you think about my credibility. I am still waiting for you to back up your moonbat claims about Fox news:roll:

I don't see much difference between the NYT and FOX. Except one says tomato and one say to-mah-to.

Not so sure about the Washington Post but that probably holds true too.

Actually, I think the Post pronounces it "squish".

I don't think bolton was put there at all to 'wag the middle finger at the U.N.' but to show some backbone and hold the u.N. accountable for its actions, which has not been done for a long, LONG time!

After the Chavez speech and all the U.N. reps who stood up in support, though, $crew 'em! Time to shut that criminal money-pit down!
