Unemployment has fallen to 5.4% now. I'm not sure how delta will affect this in the next two months. We are seeing the market respond with vaccine mandate though.

Also liberal ruining something or other just to keep up with that quota in these job threads.

:D

He shouldn't tout this too much, sure it was good that the covid infections went down for a while and businesses started hiring again but what went down (the covid infections) can suddenly turn around and go bad again with loads of more infections (mostly because people are still obeying simple health guidelines and rules.

I was of the opinion that Trump was not the reason for the huge stock market growth and Biden is only for a very small part responsible for the job growth.

Economies are cyclical things if you are a president that is lucky enough to be in charge during an uptick, you should accept that gracefully and not boastfully.

Let us know when it gets back to pre pandemic levels, still 6 million employees below Trump economic policy results

The good thing about his comments is he signaled that there's still work to do as it relates to COVID-19 cases and that the economic recovery is still an ongoing project as well.

Biden said:
My message today is not one of celebration. It's one to remind us we have a lot of hard work left to be done, both to beat the Delta variant and to continue our advance of economic recovery. Now while our economy is far from complete, and while we undoubtedly will have ups and downs along the way as we continue to battle the Delta surge of Covid, what is indisputable now is this: The Biden plan is working. The Biden plan produces results, and the Biden plan is moving the country forward

It would be silly to take a victory lap when it's likely we'll see more reactions to the growing number of COVID-19 cases and how large corporations react to that in bringing their employees back. My employer is pushing back bringing people back in September, and Amazon has pushed it back until January 2022.

Pfft, is there no depths Biden will sink to?

Yes yes.. I don't count your opinion on these things since they are so bias. You always find some excuse and we know fully well if this was trump your tune would be different

I guess it makes sense if continuing to add jobs is a bad thing.
It's a bad thing when you're desperate to find ways in which to attack your political opposition.

Good news for the country doesn't bode well for election season if you're a Trump Republican.

The most interesting part of the employment report IMO:

The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for May was revised up by 31,000, from
+583,000 to +614,000, and the change for June was revised up by 88,000, from +850,000 to
+938,000. With these revisions, employment in May and June combined is 119,000 higher
than previously reported. (Monthly revisions result from additional reports received from
businesses and government agencies since the last published estimates and from the
recalculation of seasonal factors.)

They attack American Olympians because trump told them to.

This doesn't even make sense
Claiming credit for something that happened in spite of his disastrous job killing policies….you might as well thank Trump for building an economy that can withstand his socialist ass.

Let the GOP continue to sabotage America by killing the infrastructure bill because insane trump told them to.
It’s just another spending spree of Democrat new green wish lists.

I'm not sure how delta will affect this in the next two months. We are seeing the market respond with vaccine mandate though.

More importantly how is the continuing welfare and inflation going to affect it? And what about the labor force numbers? What about the influx of a million immigrants?

The labor force rate has still not recovered from its late 90s high of 67%. Its currently about 62% which equals 100 million people choosing not to work. Half the country receives some form of govt assistance. This isnt even pandemic related, the pandemic just made it worse quicker, and we are slowly getting back to the normal decline. Meanwhile we are at record job openings of 9 million.

And at what cost? 10 trillion in debt and inflation. How many lost lives, money, businesses due in part to Bidens and congresses policies, and Trumps and the last congresses, and states policy reactions to the pandemic. And what did it really accomplish? Maybe it saved lives, maybe it cost lives, certainly it cost a lot of property and we'll be feeling that for decades. Did anyone learn to be healthy physically and financially or were they taught to be dependent on govt?

How much of the market is retail investors throwing govt money at Robinhood?

I know how hard this is for cultists to admit when wrong but still 17 months after the beginning of the pandemic we are still 6 million jobs below the February 2020 but then metrics never were measured by cultists who still refuse to acknowledge the fraud called liberalism and the biggest liar of them all, supporters!!

How can his policies be disastrous and job killing if jobs are increasing?

What makes Biden a socialist but not Trump?
How many times do I have to post BLS.gov data before people like you get it? When the fraud and lying supporters of liberalism ever reconcile the results with the rhetoric of liberalism

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to not answer my questions.

Its Friday. You seem stressed. Cheer up.

Oh ok.. that's equally as dumb and not based on facts. Thanks for posting
