Biden takes dow to 350000

Being reasonable, I won't give a ton of credit to Biden for taking it there but am happy to rub 35k in the faces of all the Biden and Democrat haters who ALWAYS predict an epic crash the minute a democrat is elected president.

This didn't age well did it:

Stunned Wall Street Responds To Biden's Shock Proposal To Double Cap Gains Tax

With stocks tumbling following the report that Joe Biden is considering a proposal that would double the capital gains tax, as investors dump in hopes of locking in existing cap gains rates - an exercise in futility if Biden and the socialists in Congress decide to make such a tax change retroactive to all of 2021 - Bloomberg quickly polled several Wall Street traders who focused on the policy’s implications for investing, and concluded that while it was too soon to panic, prospects of a higher levy on stock profits could spark near-term selling as investors look to skirt a higher rate.

Here are some hot takes, courtesy of Bloomberg:

LOVE IT!

BUT........Biden didn't "take" the Dow to 35000 but since the Righties gave credit to Trump for the stock market I guess it is only fair we give Biden credit.

Remember, it is too early to tell how inflation will effect the numbers, will Biden be blamed if the markets start going south.

The answer: you know how politics works

Biden just said he doesn't tout the market. I mean, just said it.
That would make him just like Trump.

We were all promised economic disaster if Biden was elected.

And jeez, just look at this mess.

comparing biden to trump is like comparing jordan to harold miner. No comparison at all. Biden is the goat.

Can't stop winning.
From your article...

So what does it all mean? Not much, analysts said, though they noted moves beyond big, round numbers tend to attract attention.

But tell me...what does Biden have to do with this?

(He DOES have something to do with this, but I don't think you know what it is.)

There are categories of candidate arguments.

Their favorites are this category - "if you elect the other side, disaster" - and straw men - "To answer your question about 1/6, Benghazi was a terrible Democrat crime. And I love our flag, don't you?"

Perhaps their least favorite category is having to actually take a position, which either makes them do something they don't wand to be exposed.

They're masters at spin as a result.

Sadly, the false prediction category should come with a high political price, but doesn't.

He didn’t drive the country and economy into the ground like the last guy.
