I think you ruined a "gotcha" thread.

It is a gotchya thread, but it's also a the-dogs-didn't-bark thread.

Everyone of the Trump supporters who read the thread and didn't respond
are potentially Trump supporters who already know Trump doesn't give a **** about the 2nd Amendment.

It's a blurry signal about how widespread that knowledge already is.

That means legitimate doubts're probably already in place.

They could've come into the thread and trashed me for starting an obvious gotchya thread,
told me how wrong I was,
corrected me,
then offered rationalizations for Trump wanting to shank the 2nd Amendment.


However,
I suspect Trumpco has not offered such a script or narrative.
hence the silence

So, it's only a sore spot for them at the moment,
a place in their mind where they cannot look.

They await a GOP Kwisatz Haderach to help them through.
