Just putting this out there but the way Joe has reunified NATO and helped build a worldwide coalition against Putin may well end up being his legacy. Our threatened exit from NATO along with all the damage done to our relationships with our allies was a lot to overcome and I think Biden has done an amazing job. The sanctions coming from around the world to support Ukraine and decimate the Russian economy are brilliant and may well turn his own people against him without the US firing the first shot and no boots on the ground.

Well done Joe.

I wouldn’t spike the ball while you’re still running across the 15 yard line, but I hope you’re right. A lasting, unified front against Putin would make for a better world.

Depends upon your point of view.

If you are caught up in the contrived narrative, then yes...you'll be applauding Biden.

But if you are aware of the actual reason for this Russia/Ukraine situation, you won't be congratulating him and his puppet masters.

In either case, we'll still be suffering from the effects of his domestic policies.

"Re-unified" NATO? Seems like EU and NATO are doing this on their own.

The actual reason for this Russia-Ukraine situation is Putin's fear. And your domestic situation looks positive everywhere you look. Biden will get the credit (whether he deserves it or not) for the post-pandemic boom.
Sucks, don't it?

Yup, you read it correctly. Even though they are a member of NATO, Germany has always tried to keep ties with Moscow for business and energy needs. They have no history of going along with NATO against Russia........................... until today.

So using your logic, it is Bush Sr's fault that Hussein invaded Kuwait?

Well done Joe.

"While Joe Biden’s domestic political opponents look for any reason to criticize him, the president is handling the crisis with skill and imagination. ...Europe and NATO have a special importance for him because of his long experience of the Cold War and its aftermath. For the first time in decades, an American president is showing that he, and only he, can lead the free world, including by allowing Europeans to be the public voice for policies that the Americans push in private."

I have to give you a compliment as a very rare "conservative" poster to be able to give credit to a Democrat as you did. It shouldn't be remarkable, but it is rare.

I heard Germany is shipping massive amounts of ammo and weapons. Not sure what Biden had to do with it.

I don't know what it's like in your country, but here inflation is at a 40 year high...and going higher. That hardly "looks positive".

There is no "post-pandemic boom".

Sadly, nothing can make him look like a "genius."

His speechwriters are no doubt producing a humdinger of a speech for tomorrow, but his true decrepit self will come through anyway.

No one can defy time.

Well done Joe.

I would love to see Biden arrange a video-call with Zelensky, during tomorrow's State of The Union!

I think that would not have happened without a strong position being taken by Biden and the USofA.
When did that happen? Remind me of Biden's "strong position" actions. Sending Kamala?

I know you're used to someone who brags constantly. Biden doesn't do that.

Biden has led Europe and NATO against Putin. Suck it up. Get used to it. Or you can cry. Your choice.
