Part of Trump's Covid plan was to help people by stopping evictions and foreclosures at at time when people were hurting. Now, with cases rising in every state, Biden is kicking the poor out to the curb. What is Biden's Covid plan anyway, attacking Facebook and forcing those afraid of the vaccine to be vaccinated or they lose their jobs and can't buy groceries? Is that his plan, kicking the unvaccinated out on the street? Isn't this social injustice on a massive scale?

So far, Biden has been the worst president of my lifetime. I'm sure that won't change until Kamala gets him declared unfit and takes over.

You've only posted hundreds of threads where you show your hatred towards the poor. I'm sure you can fix that with this one OP!

Yep, it is cruel to force folks to honor their lease and mortgage contracts. We should make the rich pay their rent and/or mortgage arrears or just put it on the national credit card. After all, those who continued to pay their housing bills during a “crisis” were just being foolish. ;)

There's really nothing Biden can do about it. In fact, that renter's moratorium should never have been put into place.

A U.S. appeals court ruled on Friday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lacked authority for the national moratorium it imposed last year on most residential evictions to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The ruling by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati means judges in Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan are no longer bound by the moratorium, said Joshua Kahane, the lawyer who argued the case for a property manager.

The unanimous decision by the three-judge panel upheld a lower court ruling in March finding the CDC overstepped its authority when it issued the moratorium last year.

The opinion by Judges Alan Norris, Amul Thapar and John Bush said dealing with the evictions during the pandemic could not be delegated to the CDC under existing law.

"While landlords and tenants likely disagree on much, there is one thing both deserve: for their problems to be resolved by their elected representatives," wrote Judge Thapar in a concurring opinion.

The moratorium is set to expire on July 31 and the Biden administration said in June it would not grant further extensions.

Biden's puppet masters know that anything they do will get slapped down by the courts and Congress can't act fast enough to craft and pass legislation that ****s over landlords some more...and they won't survive the political blowback from doing such a thing.

In any case...we are supposed to be getting back to normal, right? Ending that moratorium is part of getting back to normal.

Just stop, MR. Everyone who’s been a member of this forum for 5 minutes knows that if Trump was president now, you’d be one of the first saying “good, kick the lazy bums to the curb”.

Absolutely amazing that a 6 month old can already read! Your Mommy and Daddy must be very proud!!

Just to confirm:
- Signing a $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill into law
- Reaching 200 million COVID shots
- Invoking the Defense Production Act to speed up the rollout of the vaccine
- Increasing access to vaccines through the Retail Pharmacy program
- Expanding food assistance during the pandemic recovery
- An extension of the federal moratorium on evictions and the suspension of federal student loan payments and interest charges.
- Strengthening the Affordable Care Act

All these measures (to name only a few) constitute actions by the 'worst President in history'.
How different is your life under Biden compared to under Trump?

Harris will demand $999 TRILLION DOLLARS in reparations as she has said that she will do as her first act as president.

God have mercy on those of us that can see through this bullshit.

What is the GOPs plan to help these people and rent assistance?

TBH I don't see the sweeping reforms as promised. Biden's just tinkering, reversing the more egregious errors, but leaving a lot of more radical "leftist" actions, if not promised at least hinted at pre-election.....undone.

Hahahahahaha you people opposed the eviction moratorium and now you’re mad that it is ending?

This has to do with eviction protection (which I'm surprised you now appear to be defending), and has nothing to do with vaccination, other than the reality that more poor people are unvaccinated than those higher up the wealth scale.

Just yesterday you posted this https://debatepolitics.com/threads/get-a-damn-job.455198/ complaining about Biden's extended unemployment benefits. Now you're complaining that he's stopping another type of benefit. What's that called...oh yeah, hypocrisy or maybe dissociative identity disorder.
