Yet you're forgetting that far too many people were "buddies" with Epstein or at least knew him professionally. I'm guessing this mess is a function of the language barrier. I realize some subtlety and nuance are lost when translated from russian but there is no excuse for you to not notice that the smiles (in both directions) were sincere.
