Who knew that after 245 years The United States of America could be destroyed in just 6 months? I mean, hate Biden if you want. But destroying a nation in 6 months is pretty ****ing epic. This guy is the ultimate supervillain.
One side of this argument, the coalition of 58 % "impure" and 42 % white fielded and supported a candidate in 2020
perceived best suited to turn back the white grievance backlash resulting from Obama's two successful presidential campaigns..
Evidently, this was nowhere near enough pushback. :
The defining theme of the fiscal debate during President Obama's first two years is that, on every dispute over long-term policy, Democrats have favored deficit-reducing measures, while Republicans have favored deficit-increasing measures. You can blame the Democrats for failing to do more to...

McConnell Refutes Himself
"...The most recent such fight is over extension of those parts of the Bush tax cuts that only benefit Americans earning more than $250,000 a year. Mitch McConnell, .. offers this rationale for opposing the deficit-cutting measure of eliminating those tax cuts:
“Democrats spent the last two years putting government in charge of health care, the financial sector, car companies, insurance companies, student loans — you name it,” Mr. McConnell said i.. “Now they want the tax hike to pay for it all.”
This is meant to convey the idea that Democrats have passed a lot of spending programs,
and are now trying to finance the cost of these programs that they didn't bother to pay for. This is an inversion of the truth. Let's go through the list:
1. Health care -- the Affordable Care Act reduces the deficit over both the ten-year and longer-term budget window.
The measures in the bill that reduce the deficit are those that attracted the most attacks from McConnell's party.
...
5. Student loans -- McConnell defended the old, higher-cost program ..
..It's designed to create the impression that the Democrats have increased the deficit and are now trying to pay for it on the backs of the richest 2% of taxpayers. But it proves the opposite of McConnell's point..."

Jon Meacham put together a meeting between Biden
and a group of fellow historians at the White House ..What did he learn about the 46th president?
“He’s like an upside down iceberg,” the Pulitzer prize-winning historian says by phone. “. The last four or five minutes of
his press conference in the East Room [on 25 March] when he talked
about democracy and autocracy, that was pretty much it.” Media reports .. told how Biden ..said, “I’m no FDR, but …” “
It was how have previous presidents dealt with fundamental crises. FDR came up less because of the FDR legend
but more in 1933 it was an open question about whether democracy would survive the 30s. So it was how do you articulate a case for democracy
with all its inherent messiness?” This existential
struggle between democracy and autocracy, highlighted by Biden repeatedly during his first 100 days as he contemplates the rising threat of China, ...
