I have already commented that California's mild climate and compassionate citizens attract the downtrodden in our society. You find it disgusting yet the most poverty stricken States are nearly ALL Red and voted for the one term mistake. Is being the poorest in the nation the "results" you expect from Red states?Trump is out of office, this is about Biden's Infrastructure boondoggle, massive spending bill to buy votes. Your hatred of Trump didn't resonate in your state that voted for Trump. Isn't it possible that you are just to biased, partisan, and out of touch with reality? Why is it the left never tells us what good results come from liberalism? Look at all those pretty tent cities all over the country in liberal states and blue cities.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the national poverty rate was 10.5% percent or 34 million Americans in 2019. These states and territories have the highest percentages of poverty in the country: Puerto Rico, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
