Well, the "end times" doom and gloom is endearing, I must admit. There's something warm and cuddly about the idea that a VP candidate will usher in the end of the country as we know it. While there is precedent for a VP being much involved in policy than one would like (Cheney anyone?), there's a little voice that keeps telling me the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse won't appear the way a certain presidential incumbent keeps saying they will.
