So, the Republicans stand for...?The Democrats did to Trump, what the Republicans are doing to Biden. The difference is Trump got a lot done, while Biden is dead in the water unable to move forward. Trump found a way out by compromising with the Democrats, but that winning hand would require Biden become more moderate and centrist.
The radical left, which is the energy behind the Democrat party, was the main reason Biden won in 2020. This has caused Biden to shift too far left, for the expected quid pro quo. The result is many members of his own party cannot support him with an agenda the majority of Americans do not support. The Left keeps introducing cheat to win tactics; end the filibuster, which is short sighted. Harry Reid cheated when he changed the rules for nominating the Supreme Court Justices before 2016. Trump was able to make advantage of this Democrat cheat, that had been set up for Hillary. Now the Democrats whine and blame Trump for doing what they had set up for themselves. Fate is a fickle thing.
The House and Senate were almost evenly divided after 2020, which means the American people voted for something closer to what Trump did, which was an agenda so both sides of the aisle get their wish lists. This would satisfy all. Trump did deficit spent, but he was able to overcome the angry Democrat resistance, since he made sure the Democrats got all the funding they wanted, in exchange for tax cuts for everyone and strong defense spending. The rest he did with Executive orders.
The Democrats continue to run their lopsided political assassination investigations, even after being exposed for the Russian Collusion Delusion. This partisan cheating causes the Republicans to vote against Biden's partisan wish lists. Manchin lives in a state that is more balanced. He would lose his seat if he supported the one-sided angry cheating Democrat approach.
Biden needs to find the middle ground again and not try to be something he is not, to satisfy a quid pro quo with the radical left; Quid Pro Quo Joe. Biden needs to remember what Bill Clinton did, when he had to deal with a Republican majority in both houses. Bill Clinton aimed down the middle. The practical skills of the Right led to a booming economy that Clinton was able to take credit, until impeachment rocked his boat. Be careful with things like insider trading. Pelosi may allow this since she is a crook, but this can come back to get you.
We need to be worried about Biden(?), who has unemplyment below 4%, despite inflation also has more money in people's pockets every week and is seeing that the most egregiously corrupt faction of an American political group in the country's history is held legally accountable for their actions?
