Biden backer and NYT columnist admits Trump could be historic president with a Middle East deal

True, all that golfing was hard work.

And let’s not even get started on having to deal with Ted Cruz and his Massive Electoral Fraud against Trump.

Yes indeed, poor Donald. Poor, poor Donald.

Obviously, those who are still stuck in the hateful anti-Trump echo chamber would fail to grasp the point.

More Liberal hate.

More Liberal hate.
How is Ted Cruz's theft of an election from Donald John Trump "liberal hate" ?

Is Ted Cruz a liberal now, too?

I mean, I guess since he stole an election from Donald (and had an ugly wife and a presidential assassin as a father) that would make him a RINO, which is even lower than the leftist filth, right?

Based on who Trump has been appointing to his not-yet-an-official-cabinet, I strongly suspect that not only will we not see a Palestinian state, but we'll see the USA back Israel fully with the goal of ruthlessly crushing Gaza and incorporating it into themselves. Then they'll do the same with the West Bank, and any calls of genocide will be unilaterally vetoed by USA in the UN.

I know you guys gets panic attacks whenever you read a non-Fox News article, but did you bother to read the New York Times source? He's simply saying that Trump has an opportunity (that, he also points out, every President has), and his outlining why Trump should pursue that opportunity (not that he's going to).

Bullshit Liberal post.

Viva la Trump!!

Trump gets more credit than most presidents for doing something marginal because the bar is set incredibly low for him.
Then he never is held accountable to the same degree as other politicians.

HEAR! HEAR! Thanks for this Excellent Summary.

What an interesting take. Now I know in some circles there's this delusion that under the former administration Russia, China, and Iran were somehow cowering under their sheets because of the US president, but that's just not objectively true at all. Putin was busy in the Donbas helping to fuel the insurgency there in order to destabilize Ukraine. China was making the same comments about Taiwan, though not as much because Trump wasn't particularly interested in supporting Taiwan should China invade, and Iran was funding the same proxies who were carrying out attacks in the region. One of those attacks is what led to the retaliation which ended up with Solemani's assassination.

One can't help but wonder what a Trump administration would have done with a Russian invasion of Ukraine, but based on Trump rhetoric, there's a good chance it wouldn't have amounted to much because of his disinterest in NATO and the European theater. On the other hand, Biden was able to rally all sorts of nations to place embargo on Russia and back Ukraine's effort against the Russian invasion. I'm not sure how that amounts to Putin doing whatever he wants. An actual good example of letting an adversary do what they want is Trump's lack of effort in keeping the Taliban in line with the accord they signed. Instead, he let them attack the Afghan government and eventually take the country over.

Sorry, this is a load of tosh.
