So everyone keeps saying, wrongly, but they do.

Trump has 43% of hardcore support, so all they have to do is turn out and vote. 75% turn out puts it out of Biden's reach. That does not even enter into whether Trump is doing better with blacks, Hispanics, suburban moms, etc. I does not matter that COVID is starting to fade out of the front page, that inner city rioting has gotten old and tired, that the economy is starting to pick up, or that millions of people have been rehired. Trump has enough core support to swamp anything the Democrats can put out, with the rest is just icing on the cupcake.

In no sense of the word did Democrats capitulate in 2000. The after election night fight was nasty and Gore pulled no punches. In no sense did Democrats capitulate in 2016. The after election fight has raged for going on four years, with the Democrats digging deep in to the dirty trick bag.

Only someone with no respect for the Constitution thinks Democrats capitulated at any point this century.

Lot of court battles to come in the days following the election. Republicans are going to try to stop the counting of absentee ballots in every state.

Because many absentee voters will be Democratic, it is very likely that we will have a "red mirage" on election night, where the initial vote counts suggest a trump landslide victory. As the absentee ballots are counted over the days, the votes tallies will swing towards Biden.

If Biden wins like that, then trump is going to feel that a victory that he was entitled to was taken away from him. That will not end well.
