They're not illegal aliens. I don't know how they got deported to begin with, but some were apparently unjustly removed? Maybe their green cards expired? I could certainly see that if a noncitizen vet is deported (not for a military violation), he should still get his pension, but bringing back vets and family members who were deported? That seems more a job for an appeals court than the military itself.


To join the U.S. military, non-citizens must be living permanently and legally in the United States. Non-citizens must also have permission to work in the United States, possess an I-551 (Permanent Residence Card), have obtained a high school diploma and speak English.

I am not sure exactly what he has done to vet services budget, but nearly every va in the area I am at is at 1/3rd capacity, and seemingly less funded than they were at any point, yet he is in a push to fund illegals healthcare, mind you this is the same admin that cut cola to many because inflation meant they did not need the extra cost of living allowance because all areas became more expensive, essentially giving a pay cut to many in the military.
