Many times, we political junkies and concerned, involved citizens not only watch the SOTU address, we often make it into a drinking game. Often, we choose a word that we think will dominate the speech, and chug our hooch of choice each time it is uttered. Sometimes, we chug every time the president tells a blatant lie.
This is my warning to all of my fellow forum participants: do NOT drink every time Trump lies. Alcohol poisoning is a real thing! It really can kill you!
Instead, I suggest we wolf it down every time he tells us something true. Or, if you're like me and really not much of a drinker, toast the man every time he gives someone else direct credit for an accomplishment. That way, we'll maybe have less fun, but we won't be sick in the morning.
Also, have plenty of popcorn on hand.

Oh, and BTW, you can continue this into Stacey Abrams' rebuttal ... maybe quaff every time she says "we the people".
