What are some good movies that just don’t take themselves too seriously. Please leave out any 100% comedy or parody movies.

I’ll get us started. Evil Dead 2.

RED & RED 2

Great example! I have seen that movie probably 8 times and will certainly watch it again.

I was in 6th grade when the show came out on sci-fi for one season. I went to Halloween that year as Burt Gummer. With the vest, sunglasses, and Atlanta falcons hat

The Boondock Saints, especially once this scene comes on

THERE WAS A FFFFIREFIGHT

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Life of Brian

I think the ultimate movie was Airplane.

I could watch it over and over again.

Was browsing, saw this thread and immediately thought of this one.

Some quotes from the movie:

Just remember what ol’ Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol’ storm right square in the eye and he says, “Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it.

and

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
