Given that Sanders has already said that he supports making marijuana legal, I don't really see what the issue would be with having Chong as an introducer or why one should suspect that there's a conspiracy against Chong going on. They claim it was a scheduling mix-up, and after his initial huffiness on social media, Chong seems to have accepted this and says he wants to continue supporting the campaign. So, this largely seems like a non-issue.

Y'know, I'd be seriously tempted to support either Tommy Chong or Cheech Marin as a political candidate. Can they keep a cool head under pressure? Just listen to "Sister Mary Elephant" sometime - I can still hear that "ssssssTHUNK" of the knife. And would they know how to cover America's butt to keep from getting us in trouble? Just listen to "Dave's Not Here".

Man, but I do miss hearing their best material!
