In the last few days Bernie Sanders has been making the rounds saying that he plans to hold President-Elect Donald Trump accountable for the promises made during his campaign. As is custom with Sanders he actually plans to do the things he says he wants to do and he's taking his first step. Senator Sanders is proposing the "Outsourcing Prevention Act". The act would impose a number of penalties on any business that ships jobs out of the country. Penalties include a baring from consideration for federal contracts, extremely rigorous tax penalties, a cut in federal benefits, and several other penalties for business execs.
Sanders is challenging President-Elect Trump to support and sign his bill as a means of living up to his campaign promise to make America work again and to make America first again. Here's a link to Sanders' press release on the topic Sanders Statement on Carrier and Outsourcing - Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
So Sanders is taking on the President-Elect and is trying to single handedly solve the problem of outsourcing.
