So your theory is that the republicans planted an actor who would pretend to be a liberal pretending to be a conservative, in the hopes that Think Progress would come out with a video calling him racist 6 months later so that the Republicans could turn it around and pin it on liberals?

How do we know this guy, is the guy that wanted to crash the Tea Party? Once you show that, please prove to me that this guy, who ever he is was, was in cahoots with TP.

The funny thing is that Breitbart had the full video of him to 'prove' the Tea Party doesn't tolerate the racists, not that he was a party crasher. There was poor acting by this guy and by the folks who confonted him. It look phony and not real.

Yeah, BigGovernment showed the TP video, but all their videos come text and for some reason they chose not to provide the link to the blog entry where the was posted.

Perhaps because they didn't want to provide link traffic to a piece of **** website? Moreover, who cares whether there was a link or not, and how does that affect the accuracy of what I'm saying? It sounds like you're just groping for excuses.

1. Guy shows up to a Tea Party rally saying all sorts of racist ****.
2. He is heckled and escorted out of the rally by Tea Party people.
3. Someone from the Tea Party gets it all on tape and posts a 6 minute video showing him getting booed and kicked out.
4. Think Progress watches this six minute video which clearly shows this guy being roundly criticized by Tea Party people.
5. Think Progress takes a 4 second clip from the video which only shows the guy saying something racist.
6. Think Progress puts it in a video that supposedly documents the racism at Tea Party rallies.

If you don't think that's astonishingly disingenuous, then I don't know what to tell you.
 
Which is, of course, about 1,000 times worse than what Andrew Breitbart "did to" Shirley Sherrod.

Disingenuous is right. And let's not forget that the TP get's blamed through the media for everything that happens with no apology required. Examples:
NYC Cabbie stabbed - some on the left jumped to conclusions it must be a Right Wing extremist... yet the guy who did it was working for the Park51 group, aka "The Cordoba House" NYC Mosque project and was, insanely drunk at the time. Rep. Carnahan's fire-bombing of his office a few weeks ago - initially blamed on Right Wing Extremists and TP members... turns out it was one of his former employees, Chris Powers.

The MO here is --- feign outrage, blame the TP, then ignore the facts as they come out which not only refutes the initial smear campaign, but reveals their own people have committed these crimes. No one on the left really wants to hear that, they'd rather bleat on with the "Tea Party ... racist, islamaphobe, un-American, intolerant" propaganda. :shrug:

Was the guy being racist or wasn't he? So he was roundly criticized by Tea Party people, Big ****ing deal. What does that have to do with the price of tea from China. Nothing at all, he was at the Tea Party, that's what matters. Ask yourself why he was doing this in front of Tea Party cameras and not liberal activist cameras? I think that answers why the video was taken in the first place.

Also your 'sources' say this guy was Jason Levin, the idiot who started the the website and I stress that's all he did, because he was exposed before the April 15th Tea Party events he never attended one.

Please watch the following video from Channel 2 in Portland. Notice the facial hair and the shirt he planned on wearing and compare that with the video at the Tea Party. He never left the Portland/Beaverton area; you've been misinformed by your 'sources.'

Please read my last several posts and think through why it doesn't matter in the slightest who the guy actually is.

Again, the guy could be:

1) A conservative plant
2) A liberal plant
3) The reanimated corpse of calvin Coolidge

and the point would remain the same. TP watched a video published by conservatives that showed a rejection of a solitary racist at a tea party event and then used a misleading clip of that video in order to make it seem like that type of thing was accepted and commonplace.

You think that's fine. I think that's embarrassing. I don't see any point in trying to further explain it to you.
