No one will be able to prove who did what, but that won’t stop the Dems from reviving Russiagate in all its fanatical glory. Given the lack of proof, the news won’t help or hurt Trump.

Likely he was briefed but couldn't see opportunism in the briefing so he didn't care until he had to play defence in the media.

I didn't see the option I would have voted for. I would have voted that Trump DID hear some make that claim while others in the intelligence community poo pooed it as being false. So, no evidence or meeting of the minds about it so it was dismissed. Just because Trump may have heard it doesn't mean it is actionable if there was no proof of it. Democrats want to believe every silly false idea they hear.
