It's immense.

Should William Barr Recuse Himself From Mueller Report? Legal Experts Say Attorney General's Ties to Russia Are Troubling

Do these people really believe this will not blow up in their face? Oh, that's right. They're confident that their supporters are stupid. So, they probably do believe they can get away with it.

Putin must own all the Republicans, from the NRA to the Birch Society.

LOL!!

This nonsense is even more nebulous than Sessions' "conflict".

However, before you start pointing fingers at Barr, you need to justify Mueller with HIS multiple conflicts of interest...not to mention all of the conflicts of the members of his team and the 40+ FBI agents who worked with them. These conflicts are all documented and undeniably established.

If you want to give Mueller a pass, then you MUST give Barr a pass.

I wonder if Barr spent his honeymoon there?

More conspiracy theory garbage.

Even if the entire Mueller Report was released 100% unredacted, Democrats and the CTers sprinkled among them would still grasp at anything to save their floundering ship, the USS Collusion.

We knew Barr's conclusions from his 19 page job application let alone before he got Mueller's report. Ethics experts told him to recuse then - he declined.

As far as I know..the only conflict as it relates to Mueller is that Republicans wanted him until he started handing down immunity deals and indictments.

So an opinion columnist thought Mueller should be out because he thinks knowing Comey is a conflict of interest. Baloney. Comey was not the subject of this investigation.

The fact is, Comey was a material witness. When the investigator has a close relationship...it's not just a matter of Mueller "knowing" Comey...yes, that is a definite conflict of interest.

On the other hand, perhaps that's why Mueller ended up punting on the obstruction nonsense. He should have declined the whole Special Counsel job.

How deliciously dishonest and delusional. No such conflicts have been documented and established, nor can you demonstrate that they have been.

Still, fun to pretend in public, eh?

Yay! Fun!

You really should read the thread before spouting off.

Unlike you, I'm quite familiar with the investigations and the specious claims of COI.

You should really consider refraining from making claims you're forced to run away from.

No need to thank me. Always happy to help. Fun!

This exactly. Too much redacting and summarizing going on. If it clears Trump the way they say it does?? Why not release it?? Why all the subterfuge.
I can only imagine the R's would just accept whatever came out - redacted and summarized tho it might be. They would buy it hook line and sinker if it were a democrat.............Right??

But...but...we know Barr is an honest man.

Law professor Ryan Goodman tells Lawrence that in 1989, Barr refused to release a DOJ legal opinion, choosing to release a summary report instead. It was later revealed that Barr, according to Goodman, mischaracterized parts of the opinion in his summary.
1989 controversy raises questions about how Barr will redact Mueller report

"mischaracterized" is being kind. He flat out lied to congress about what was in the document.

Because its against the law to release grand jury information.

Barr's Conflict of Interest

Another stupid thread by calamity based on ignorance.

Barr was confirmed by the Senate. Conflicts of interest were examined at that time. He has none.

FAIL

Nice fantasy, but the facts say otherwise.

That’s a moot point since a public version of the report was already prepared by the Mueller team. Barr is sitting on that report.

You might want to look up Congressional subpoena.

Of course they can try to get it with a subpoena. It would be illegal for Barr to just hand over Grand jury testimony without court action.
