And yet... there has been great support in progressive circles for the national voter compact-- a plan which whose feature involves state legislatures throwing out their state's election and appointing their own delegates.

So strong the judge rejected it before they finished? That strong? They're manufacturing a problem so Trump can keep fleecing the flock.

BUT if they don't and that is the case right now , they have no right to take it out of the voters hands and appoint their delegates. IF they do then that is stealing it from the voters for Trump,
Again the right keeps saying there is all this massive wide spread fraud going on but hasn't been able to prove a thing.
get some real proof and take it to court prove it and then we can do something about it
as of now there is not any real proof if there was the right should have found it by now it has only been a month

As I said the last time that I responded to that same claim, there is a rational basis for wanting a president elected based upon the nation popular vote and the National Voter Compact does that. There is no rational basis for a legislature deciding, against the actual vote or nation popular vote, to award votes directly to Trump -- that is, besides blind partisanship.

The argument has been any attempt to overturn a state's election results by having the legislature appoint its electors regardless of the popular vote total therein, is an attack upon democracy

They cited a number of issues which allegedly violated Georgia law.
