The U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington issued a statement early Thursday denying an explosive report that claimed Attorney General William Barr asked federal prosecutors to explore whether they could bring criminal charges against Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan for allowing the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) police-free protest zone that led to two fatal shootings.

Brian T. Moran, the federal prosecutor, said he has had multiple conversations with leadership inside within the Department of Justice and "at no time has anyone at the Department communicated to me that Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan is, was or should be charged with any federal crime" related to CHOP.

"As U.S. Attorney I would be aware of such an investigation," he said.

Today, the reporter says that this guy said that that guy said that Barr said. And it get printed in the NYTimes as truth. Sad

And the fact that their boss refused to print a story based on an anonymous source. Full circle back to my original post, the NYTimes is now willing to print stories based on triple hearsay based on anonymous sources. That is how far "journalism" on the left has devolved.

I have no idea what Barr thinks he is doing.

The AG is not part of the policy apparatus of the administration. He does not get a vote in masking up or not or locking down or not and as AG nobody gives a rats behind about his opinion on locking down and a comparison to slavery for God sake. So I have no idea why he thinks he should be ejaculating in public other than that he is dumb as a rock and dangerous as hell. Then again the doughy fat-ass looks like he might just cave to a heart attack any minute. So maybe cholesterol is our salvation.

Today, the NYTImes, the WaPo will print any anonymous source bull**** as long as it makes the President look bad. Journalism is dead. Bradley is rolling over in his grave.
