Barr and the DOJ have become nothing a political arm for Trump!!

The DOJ under Barr, on the orders of Trump, are trying to get the court to drop the charges against Flynn, a man who admitted to the charges against him. Flynn knowing that the DOJ is now totally controlled by Trump has tried to withdraw his guilty plea, which he swore under oath to be the truth. It will be up to the judge to decide if the plea can be withdrawn. So now the DOJ under Barr will insure no harm comes to Trump's friends and will go after anyone who Trump sees as his enemies, as he did when he ran around the world trying to prove that the Russian investigation was illegal. The really pathetic thing is that all of the Trumpsters on this board will side with Trump and Barr as they are sheep. Come on, start baaing for us. There is no longer any real law left in this country. It truely has become who you know not what you have done.

No doubt that Bill Barr is the only person that could have possibly pulled off the murder of Jeffrey Epstein. This man is as evil as the man who is pulling his strings.
 

Flynn's illegal lobbying activities were bargained and overlooked after Flynn plead. Time to ressurrect them. But wait, Bill Barr must make that decision.

Some would call us conspiracy theorists, but the story around Epstein death didn't make sense. Couple that with Barr over-seeing federal prisons? Additionally, many wealthy men and of course trump were involved with Epstein. Many could have gone down if his case went to trial, and the evidence already known was just the tip of the iceburg.
 

Guess what, this is all going to come out once these bastards are out of power, and they will be, that's a certainty. This is why they're going to go to any extreme necessary to hang onto power. It's about to get a lot worse, we can't imagine how much worse.

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace reported Thursday that three former Justice Department officials, all Republicans, doubted that Judge Emmet Sullivan would be quick to dismiss the case against former Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn even if the DOJ has decided not to prosecute.

They said “that this was a lie told to Vice President Mike Pence that they knew was a lie because Mike Flynn’s conversations with Sergey Kislyak were on intercepts, the kinds of things the intelligence community listens to, not because they’re listening for Mike Flynn, but because they’re listening to people like Ambassador Kislyak. It was that lie to the vice president that got Mike Flynn on the radar of law enforcement. Mike Flynn lied to the FBI and affirmed that admission that he’d lied to the FBI as late as 2019, according to one former Justice Department official.”



According to Wallace’s sources, those facts may give Judge Sullivan some “pause.” “So, it may not go down the way Attorney General Barr and Donald Trump want it to,” Wallace said.

In an earlier conversation, former federal prosecutor Chuck Rosenberg explained that very few federal judges are “pushovers,” recalled MSNBC’s Brian Williams. Judge Sullivan was appointed by former President George W. Bush.

Williams also noted that looking at social media he discovered that there were Russian flags and Russian memes being posted congratulating Flynn.

“Putin, if you’re listening, high-five your asset,” Williams quoted the first thing he saw on Twitter about the Flynn news.

Trump asked former FBI Director James Comey to “let Flynn go,” began part of a long investigation into the president’s attempt to cover up the administration’s link to Russia. Wallace said that it’s clear Trump finally found someone who would see to it that Flynn was “let go” in Bill Barr.

The New York Times reported that Trump was prepping pardons for Flynn and friend Roger Stone as late as last week.

White the Trump campaign was under a counterintelligence investigation, Michael Flynn who was our National Security Advisor, had discussions with Sergey Kislyak about the US removing sanctions on Russia. Sergey Kislyak and Sergei Lavrov are two of Putin's top spies -- remember that. Remember also, that Michael Flynn lied to Mike Pence in addition to lying to other staff members at the White House AND the FBI. This gave the Russians a lot of leverage over the National Security Advisor of the United States. This is precisely why Sally Yates went to the White House to speak with Don McGahn personally to warn him of the danger Mike Flynn presented.

Trump couldn't get Comey to let Flynn go free, but he sure got Bill Barr to get Flynn free.

Feel free to post any transcripts of that meeting. And while you are at it, post the transcripts of the meeting in trump tower. The transcripts of the Flynn meetings and the baby trump meetings with whoever.

He plead guilty. I would repeat this like a bunch of times, but it wouldn't matter to you. You just have to find some way that he wasn't a Russian shill and you will accept any explanation that meets that objective. But he pleaded guilty, more than once. He is on the record saying it. If you have some sort of lizard people explanation, I'll give it a listen.
 

So why was Mr. Flynn being investigated?
Please let Mr. Barr know. Because there is no evidence to support a good faith investigation.
Surely, in the interest of law, you will tell us. Or Mr. Barr.

The FBI said he wasn't a Russian shill. They had concluded this by Jan 2017.
So why was Mr. Flynn being interviewed?
The inability to explain WHY explains the dismissal of the case.

What Russian asset? By the beginning of Jan 2017, the FBI had already said there was no there there.

However they did not discuss removing sanctions. Flynn said that Russia should not overreact to the sanctions.

Ok-- which means what. Kisylak was the FRussian ambassador so no doubt plenty of other Americans had talks with Kisylak.
And as the incoming NSC director, it would be part of Flynn's job to talk to Kisylak.

That was the claim. But since lying to an FBI agent is a crime if it pertains to a "material" fact of the investigation, one needs to show exactly what is being investigated.
The FBI was unable to do this..
Which is why the charges were dropped.

Saw Barr on TV. He said there was not sufficient evidence to prove the case. A case where Flynn had already pleaded guilty. so what more evidence did they need. To me Barr was there to say, we can do what we want and you can do nothing to stop us. When asked how history would see his actions, he laughed and said history is written by the winners. He better hope that trump wins in the fall or Barr will find out how this ends.

Yes, police departments around the country use the tactic of getting someone to make a false statement so that they can use it against them. That someone of Flynn's experience would be taken in by such a tactic says either the tactic was sound or he is a complete idiot. And I'm pretty sure sure he's not an idiot. But he is guilty.
