WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Americans once again are most likely to name Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton as the man and woman living anywhere in the world they admire most, as they have for the past 10 years. The pair retain their titles this year, although by much narrower margins than in the past. Obama edges out Donald Trump, 17% to 14%, while Clinton edges out Michelle Obama, 9% to 7%.

I believe the criteria to make the list is to act like an adult, therefore Trump did not even qualify.

Results for this Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted Dec. 4-11, 2017, with a random sample of 1,049 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. For results based on the total sample of national adults, the margin of sampling error is ±4 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. All reported margins of sampling error include computed design effects for weighting.

So they sampled a whole 1049 people, So that's about 20 people per state. I suppose if you carefully selected regions of a city/state could get all sorts of different results.

As mad as the country is supposed to be with DT, It's amazing that he was only beaten by 3 points. You might think that BO would be the one pissed with those results.

Why did gallup leave out the # of republicans, democrats, independents sampled? if once again as usual, they oversampled democrats by 10%, one might think the results would be different.


Not that it matters, but given all the other #fakenews the fact that trump is within in the margin of error should make you wonder if all you hear and see is to be believed.
 




And this time, they ommitted the # of republicans vs democrats vs independents, where it's usually 22# republican 30+# democrat, and the rest "independents" who tend to lean left.

actually I don't care. I'd figure in this most polarized nation it would be about the same, and even possibly obama slightly higher. the point being given the oversampling of democrats, you can't simply trust these polls. the last time you did, you were shocked when your girl lost the election.

Well democrats are not over sampled as democrats occupy 10% or more.of the overall population....

Sad world? the poll is political, even if not by name when you add, wait for it.... politicians. When you oversample democrats consistantly you will get results skewed towards democrats no matter what.

Oh and just so you know. There aren't that many conservatives out there. I do believe the population of the country leans left as it is so...

Hillary Clinton admired, that’s too funny. As for Obama, his skeletons are falling out of the closet faster than the lunatic left can throw them back in. OB’s actions with the Iran deal and Hezbollah was outright disgusting if not treasonous in nature.

If this country had a non politicized justice system and FBI we could investigate and get to the truth, that’s never going to happen though.
