It's 1AM...The place is jumping...

then someone puts "Goodnight Saigon" on the jukebox...

Start handing out the razor blades...

What are the worst songs to be played at a bar?...they may not be bad songs on their own, but they're real crowd-killers...

The afore-mentioned "Goodnight Saigon" by Billy Joel

"Streets of Philadelphia" by Bruce Springsteen

"The End" by the Doors

"All my exes live in texas" i don't care who does it

"my dingaling" don't care again

"If you don't start drinking, I'm gonna leave" Don't care

"Closing Time" Does anyone care

The END-the only Doors Song I like-maybe because Apocalypse Now's opening was UBER COOL

never saw that on a bar J-Box myself

the worst (this is dating myself) was some POS called "RING MY BELL"

I just remember that from years ago. I wanted to hurl everytime I heard it

Like a Virgin was another

(ever see Richard Belzer's comedy routine about that?)

I used to do a song by Ray Davies, of the Kinks, called "Oh, Demon Alcohol."

The song went over ok, but the bar owners didn't care for a song detailing the evils of alcohol! LOL!

I wanted to get thrown out of a bar one night, I could not get my buddies to leave and I had to get up at 5am the next morning. So the bar had an internet jukebox...how does Burl Ives "Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer" sound for a good tune to play over the sound system?

I still didn't get tossed, though. They just changed the song from behind the bar :doh

I'd say anything by Barry Manilow, Jimmy Buffett, or 90% of any rock and/or rap music made after 1995.

I know people like it when these songs come on, but they seriously suck...

Salt n Peppa -- "Push It"
Vanilla Ice -- "Ice Ice Baby"
??? -- "We Are Family"

...also anything by Meatloaf.

Creep.........by Radiohead

Losing My religon........by R.E.M.

Anything by a group of fashionably dressed young male pop stars.
