Can you blame these people after seeing De Blasio fail miserably during the Floyd "peaceful" protests? My guess is it will continue to spike, seeing as violent deaths are going up and the NYPD's budget get's slashed.

Anyone who rushed out to impulse buy a gun without doing research or has not received any training on its use is an idiot. I fully support anyone who wishes to exercise their right to own a gun, but I also think the flip side is true anyone exercising their right has an obligation to do so responsibly by being knowledgeable in it’s use and about their choices.

Not everyone that rushes out or decides they want a firearm goes in and buys the biggest hand cannon money can buy, (yeah some do) but will go with a friend or family member that is knowledgeable on the subject.

Then they would be doing some research IMO, I was thinking more along someone who hasn’t ever shoot a firearm buying one they think looks cool.

I would recommend shooting the style and caliber of whatever firearm any first time buyer is looking at before purchasing.
