Jesus didn't exist, much less as a "perfect" individual. No man is perfect and that idea is the very foundation of right wing cultish behavior wherever it exists. If you can make people believe absurdities, such as that ANY man is perfect, you can make them commit atrocities. Sadly, normal Americans, capable of critical thought, have had to watch in horror as their conservative countrymen betray the principles of democracy and civility to preserve the illegitimate power of a wanna-be autocrat. Your oblivious, frightening devotion to Jesus and Trump is pathological because there is not an ounce of reality in your world view that can compete with your rich fantasy world. How can this republic survive this wave of credulous morons who declare their leaders divinely appointed despite their most notorious reputations for inspiring violence, whether that leader be Jesus or Trump?

It's not a surprise. And, no, appointees don't automatically leave upon the inauguration of a new prez. In fact, some have been kept in the past. It's unusual to see so many leave the admin before the last day. So, the news is new to you, Fletch.
 
Competence. That's all we really ask out of our executive branch. They don't even have to be perfect just competent.

For 4 years we've had clowns.
