Top one seems to be a political move by Trump who ordered the LAPD to take him out. Yes, this is coming from the left and I assume his supporters.
Me? I wouldn't be surprised if this was a publicity stunt by him. Look at all the drama it's causing. Easy $$$.

Are you talking about Avenatti being arrested because according to his wife he allegedly beat her?
Are you talking about something that didn't happen and that she's denying?

He beat up his wife for publicity?
No.
I don't know, I wasn't really surprised to hear it. Adrenaline junky and attention whore? I can totally see it.
I heard something to the effect that he tried to run into a building and was heard yelling "she hit me first! This is bull****!!"
Sad for her, but wow, that's hilarious, what a melt-down if that's true. She'll take him to the cleaners.
Okay....then explain what you mean.
It wasn't his wife.

I can still see the mark....
Good shot.
This thread got stupid real fast.
What mark? I asked a question and did not assert anything that wasn't, at the time, in the news. Blame the news media for getting it wrong on the wife bit. Regardless, he HAS been charged for hitting a woman. That much is fact, not CT.

Oh, you didn't say what you said? Funny how that always seems to happen when you put your foot in your mouth...
Whether you reply with further dishonesty or jump thread, this is the simple truth: You threw some snotty snark at a poster. Regardless of how you would prefer to re-characterize your prior words, your little 'question' did contain an assertion that Avenetti's wife claimed Avenetti had beaten her, because that's how English works.
That was this post:
I'm sure your theory for how saying "according to his wife he allegedly beat her" isn't actually asserting that according to his wife he allegedly beat her is terribly interesting, but please do spare me the details.
Someone who did know what was going on already said this, which demonstrates that your denied-assertion was wrong:
And as those links demonstrate, no, she did NOT say he was beating her. She in fact called it a "lie". So no, "according to his wife he allegedly beat her" is a FALSE statement.
Enough of the game-playing.
