This story is important because while robots have been replacing low skill jobs for years, this robot is performing a highly paid, high skill task - surgery - with a 100% success rate. Replacing human surgeons with machines like this could yield enormous benefits, the biggest being potentially universal access to world class surgical care. Getting rid of the human surgeon is a feature, not a bug. The quicker we can do it, the better.

So this robot operated on a human-like model under the guidance of a surgeon.
I think you're jumping the gun in your celebration of robotic surgery.

"Removes organs with 100% success rate?"

Shit, I can do that.

I got a robot assisted prostetectomy. For prostate cancer

It was kind of amazing. They poked a couple of holes, but no incision. I drove my self home the next morning, didnt miss a day of work.
