So a best-selling author rips into the NYT Best seller list, claiming its cooked? Sorry, but I find this argument to be disingenuous since its a known fact that publishers inflate the sales of their featured authors by buying up their own copies just to make the list. The whole "NYT bestselling author" tag is pretty much overrated these days too, since so many have that label in the covers of their books that hardly anybody cares anymore.
