An Australian lawyer, Alex Stewart, has smoked pages torn from the Koran and the Bible, posting the video on YouTube just days after an American Pastor's threat to burn the Muslim holy book caused worldwide outrage.

Which was better? I don't know, but if he got high off of either one, you can expect Bibles and Korans to soon disappear, becoming contraband as part of the war on drugs, while prisons fill with those who were caught by the DEA with those books, and given long terms as a result.

There is no Gideon Koran, so the Bible will always be more popular with smokers.

They are probably both made from rice paper.

I knew a few kids who would use bible pages as rolling papers on vacation. Most of them grew out of it by 15 or 16 though.

Was it be cause they could get jobs and buy rolling pappers or pipes?

Partially, and partially because they realized that nobody thought they were edgy or cool just because they smoked the bible.

When I was a kid, I remember other kids saying that bible pages made good rolling papers, if you were out of zigzags.
No idea if this is true or not.

Oops, should've read the whole thread before posting.:doh

No Torah? Anti-semitic me thinks.

Amazon.com: The Qur'an Translation (9781879402294): Sayed A. A. Razwy, Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Books

This Koran has 538 pages and retails for 9.95 at amazon. The dimensions are 7 x 4.1 inches. This works out to 15441 square inches of rice paper. A rolling paper is about 24 square inches, this works out to approximately 1.5 cents per joint.

I am not looking up the price of rolling papers at work though, so I don't know how it compares to the real thing.

However, this potentially could be a real money saver for pot heads.
