Will there be protests in Australia against the governments support of Trump on immigration and border security?
Yes there will be protests.
The DNC will send in money to organize whatever chaos they can.
Riiiiiight.
No one needs to send in money or organize anything. Trump is hated enough around the world it will be spontaneous.

Not likely australia has an even worse track record than america. They will support it because it will hopefully take some of the heat off of there own abysmal record of bigotry and apartheidism. One only needs to point out australias own criminal activity with the naura prison, the Deportation of any one the police do not like to christmas island. The detention, torture and murder of indigenous people.
There are Australians here. I will wait for them to comment, but I hear you. Apologies if you are Australian.
Was an australian. But i have now lived more than half my life in nz as well. And i much prefer the politics of new zealand over the old white trash boys network that exists in australia.
Glad you have no problems with race.
i loss money on the melbourne cup too, so screw them..
Other than that what could you possibly mean by race in a country with such a mixed bag of ethnicity and cultural values.
If referring to the political scenario in australia as a description of an old boys network mainly controlled by old white men is considered racism then the reality is that racism does occur in australia.
True, but at least it is not all to the same degree.Sounds like it is everywhere.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who spoke with President Trump for about 25 minutes on Sunday, is one of just a few world leaders to have spoken with the US leader since he signed the executive order. During the phone conversation President Trump confirmed the US would continue with a deal signed by the Obama administration to resettle hundreds of refugees and asylum seekers held by Australia on Manus Island and Nauru.
Apart from confirmation of the resettlement deal, no official information about the call has been made public. Ms Bishop said the two leaders spoke about a range international issues.

The most pressing issue for Australia is the resettlement of Arab or North African refugees currently detained on Manus Island and Nauru, which was why the Aussie foreign minister complemented President Trump's tough stance on immigration. Probably the Trump administration will end up in resettling thousands of refugees from Australia's detention centres in the US as Trump said that he would not renege on a deal signed by the Obama administration despite the current ban on refugees.
And now for a dose of reality
We are now living in 2017 and no Australian in their right mind denies that much of the treatment of our indigenous people was appalling at best
However, numerous initiatives aimed at reconciliation, compensation and bestowing rights to aborigines have been implemented since the 1970s.
To be fair, some are misguided whilst others are mere band-aids but to equate modern day Australia with an apartheid-style regime is nothing short of nonsense.
As for Christmas Island, you need to check your facts as the vast majority of detainees are visa holders that have forfeited their rights to residency by being convicted of crimes punishable by a minimum of 12 months in jail
Nauru and others are different in that the detainees are all there because they attempted to enter the country illegally and have virtually no evidence to back up their claims.
It obviously is far from perfect but better than having a free for all where anyone that washes up on a beach is granted residency and goes straight onto welfare
Furthermore, having lived in China and the Middle East plus travelled extensively, I can assure you that Australia is nowhere near being the most racist country on earth.
In fact, we would be lucky to get out of the heats let alone finish on the podium.
Lastly, I suggest you look into your own back-yard before criticising ours.
Does the genocide of the Moriori people ring any bells?
The death of more than 50% of the Maori population by 1900?
How about the confiscation of lands, destruction of culture and economic suppression of the Maori people that was commonplace until the 70s?
Sounds like we have more in common than you would care to admit
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Feb 1
Do you believe it? The Obama Administration agreed to take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia. Why? I will study this dumb deal!
It should have been one of the most congenial calls for the new commander in chief — a conversation with the leader of Australia, one of America’s staunchest allies, at the end of a triumphant week.
Instead, President Trump blasted Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull over a refu*gee agreement and boasted about the magnitude of his electoral college win, according to senior U.S. officials briefed on the Saturday exchange. Then, 25 minutes into what was expected to be an hour-long call, Trump abruptly ended it.
At one point, Trump informed Turnbull that he had spoken with four other world leaders that day — including Russian President Vladi*mir Putin — and that “this was the worst call by far.”

Not from you thoughAnd now for a dose of reality
Actually apartheid is a horrible truth of australia. Your government still steals their children and their land, even their own life expectancy is getting lower. Your band aides are only there so people like you can ignore what is really being done.We are now living in 2017 and no Australian in their right mind denies that much of the treatment of our indigenous people was appalling at best

To be fair, some are misguided whilst others are mere band-aids but to equate modern day Australia with an apartheid-style regime is nothing short of nonsense.
Actually no, there are quite a few there who have had no criminal charge only suspected. There are also others who have lived their whole lives in australia with no family or contact to whichever island they go to.As for Christmas Island, you need to check your facts as the vast majority of detainees are visa holders that have forfeited their rights to residency by being convicted of crimes punishable by a minimum of 12 months in jail
But apparently vetted by australia and called refugees so that they will be accepted by america. Or are you saying that your own government lied and they are actually unknowns of which australia did absolutely nothing but dump them on an island prison.Nauru and others are different in that the detainees are all there because they attempted to enter the country illegally and have virtually no evidence to back up their claims.
Use of hyperbole does not help your case either. The generalising of welfare is nothing more than another bit of scare propaganda used by your government and is another sign of an apartheid mentality. It obviously is far from perfect but better than having a free for all where anyone that washes up on a beach is granted residency and goes straight onto welfare
Not a fact that lessens any guilt from the bigoted, sexist and racist mentality that does exist in australia to such an extent that people like yourself can fool yourself that it does not happen.Furthermore, having lived in China and the Middle East plus travelled extensively, I can assure you that Australia is nowhere near being the most racist country on earth.
In fact, we would be lucky to get out of the heats let alone finish on the podium.
Again, irrelevant to the deeds of australia. And you may want to take that up with maori.Lastly, I suggest you look into your own back-yard before criticising ours.

The idea that these are not refugees has long gone and is only being used now as a another lie .

No, it sounds like a desperate attempt usually played by australians. Instead of owning up to the murder of their indigenous or the racial tensions created in australia. you instead pretend that any other events happening anywhere else excuse you. It does not. Nor were the events in nz anywhere near as disastrous for the maori as they have been for australian aborigines. Or as you falsely portray them in an attempt to change the subject from australias racial crimes.
Australia is in a unique position where the mineral rich country can produce enough wealth that business and government can throw incentives around to have people ignore what they are doing.
