The Aussies are creating their own Space Force:

How absurd of the Aussies! The money could be better spent building back-up redundancies in Australia's domestic and international communication systems down here on Earth. Until and bless Australia has an autonomous space programme, such a command centre is unnecessary as the article implicitly admits. It's a waste of money and effort in my opinion. It was however interesting, so thanks for posting the story.

Cheers and be well.

Do they at least have a space capable vehicle?
Maybe not, but they could borrow some from their neighbors in New Zealand where they have an active and proven space launch facility.
