AURORA, Ill. – Officials in Aurora released dashcam video that shows the assault of a police officer during the course of a traffic stop last month.

In a press conference Wednesday, Aurora Police Chief Kristen Ziman said the traffic stop should have only resulted in a minor citation “at most, but turned into an officer fighting for his life.”

Three people have been charged with various crimes in the incident that took place June 21.

Can't say that these individuals were denied their due process, because this is the kind of instance where the cops would have been within their rights to snuff that guy out.
Everyone got to go home, so I chalk that up as good policing and getting the bad guys.
Like the PIO said, the worst that they would have gotten was a traffic citation.
