Police blame Palestinian militants for bus blast

I know we are all shocked that Demsocialist did not post this event. Seems that there may be other reasons for peace talks breaking down than someone adding a bathroom to their house on the West Bank.

Here another link Israeli Bus Hit By Bomb

Actually was just about to post something on this. Was watching the Cheifs game decided to check the news during halftime but it seems you beat me to it.

Seems that there may be other reasons for peace talks breaking down than someone adding a bathroom to their house on the West Bank.
Unfortunately there are several miltant groups who oppose all peace with Israel unless Israel returns all land back to the Palestinians. And unfortunately they carry out these idiotic attacks. My hunch thinks that this its probably the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group.

hamas militants are terrorists (l dont support hamas ) but pkk militants are freedom fighters .((((((

l mean honesty is a good thing!

if you hate terrorism ,comdemn it wherever it comes from!

Mushir al-Masri: Who is speaking?

Hezi Simantov (Israeli Channel 10 reporter):
Hezi from channel 10. Does the Hamas movement take the responsibility for this terror attack or not?

Mushir al-Masri: It (Hamas) does not take responsibility but also does not deny it, but we are "blessing" (welcoming) this sacrificial attack,
that comes as a natural response from the Palestinian people for the occupation crimes: killing of a boy in Jerusalem, and earlier killing of two boys in Qalqilya and Jenin.
This (attack) is a message to the Zionists: Your leaders are playing with your lives.

Hezi Simantov: Is the Hamas movement interested in renewing the terror attacks in Israel?

Mushir al-Masri: I think that the occupation is the one that would dictate the terms for the campaign. If the occupation wold cross the border, the movement (Hamas) would reach inside (into Israel) with Allah's help.

Since Turkey supports terrorist groups, I have do problem whatsoever with any group that attacks them.

The PKK are terrorist scum, but unlike Hamas, they are fighting actual government apartheid and indiscriminate oppression.

Idiots, whoever is responsible.

Fortunately the bus driver noticed the suspicious looking bag and took action to get everyone off before anyone was seriously injured or killed.

Whaaaat? but just yesterday I heard a minister from the PA saying Israel doesn't need to have presence in the border with Jordan because there will be no terrorists after a peace treaty will be signed and Palestine will be founded. This is shocking!

Why?

Fallen.

Blessing is kind of an action, one generally presumes it to be active as opposed to passive. Welcoming, I think, is generally passive in the sense that one is tolerant and considerate.

The transliteration blurs the line between acting and reacting. One can see, in context, that is the intent. Nonetheless, it remains an appealing distortion metaphysically.

Ah, I see.
As far as I can remember (and I'm too lazy to look up the recording again to see what Mushir said in Arabic),
the Hebrew translation from Arabic was "mevarhim" (i.e brakhá) brakhá = blessing, congratulation - Wiktionary, btw "congratulating" is also a valid meaning in the given context.
However, it can also be interpreted as "welcoming" in some cases.

His responses were indeed quite ambiguous, but I don't think that anybody expected him to say something like "Yes! We did it!" either.

I think "praise" or "view as praiseworthy" would also have been good translations.
