What is the difference between an Atheist who speaks blaspheme against God and Jesus versus Satan?
Doesn't Satan do the same?
I have done that several times and I choose not to waste my time proving anything to Atheists. They need to find God on their own.
Whether you believe in God or not, He does exist and; therefore, simply saying He doesn't exist is blaspheme. Any Atheist should be proud to use blaspheme.
According to Scripture, both are blasphemers...of course an atheist can have a change of heart, where Satan and his demons cannot...
Thank you for this thread...I too now understand atheists better...and it's really true, what I've said all along...they'll flock to a believer's post in attempts to silence them, no matter where they are, even in the religious forum, because they are so petrified of the thought that a believer could actually speak the truth about God...it scares the life outta them...they feel they have to squash any talk of a Supreme Being so in their little minds, that'll make it all go away...
If believers were to keep silent, then the stones would cry out..."And he answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out." Luke 19:40

How can I threaten you? I have no power to do anything to you. God doesn't have to be a stranger. Everyone who reads our postings can learn about Him. God continually asks you to know Him and have a relation with Him. So, the stranger walking down the street analogy is not a good one.
Well, apart from stating that I lack belief in the existence of any god, I don't make any claims. I could of course be challenged to prove that I lack belief but not quite sure how to do that. Then perhaps some Atheists should not make claims.
Why can't Satan change his heart?
There is no basis for forgiveness left for Satan or his demons, nor for Adam and Eve...2 Peter 2:21; Matt.12:32; Heb. 6:4-6

Thnx but I am not looking up a bunch of Bible quotes. Can you just explain why please. This is not a set up... I have honestly never heard your claim before and am curious.
The scriptures are self explanatory...2 Peter 2:21 states "It would have been better for them not to have accurately known the path of righteousness than after knowing it to turn away from the holy commandment they had received."
This is exactly what they all did...Matt. 12:32 reveals the outcome outcome of their actions..."For example, whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, no, not in this system of things nor in that to come."
I was being sarcastic, buddy.
If you don't know God and you think He does not exist, you really do not understand the result. After all, you think there is no special result for anyone.
Isn't forgiveness a core tenent of Christianity though? That is what confuses me here...
You missed the last scripture...these scriptures explain how even forgiveness has it limits...

Heb. 6:4-6 explains why..."For as regards those who were once enlightened and who have tasted the heavenly free gift and who have become partakers of holy spirit and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things, but have fallen away, it is impossible to revive them again to repentance, because they nail the Son of God to the stake again for themselves and expose him to public shame."
You know that was used by lords to murder people right? Have people agree to the grace of God and then when they slip up again its considered blasphemy and you can kill them. They could drive in and conquer people and only leave the ones alive that agree to God. Then at the first slip up have a "right" to kill them for "shaming god". You need to be aware of people using gods name all around you. I garentee your pastor doesnt deserve the 5 extra cars he has.
I was a devout Roman Catholic for the first 25 years of my life. I know quite well the supposed eternal damnation for not falling in line and being part of the flock. It's an empty threat cast by those desperate for control
If you tell someone that they need to beg for forgiveness for being an athiest or they might go to hell you are threatening them. And you are using God to do it. Im pretty sure God wouldnt enjoy you using his name to threaten people. You are probably, actually making God's job harder.
Do keep in mind that when it cones to christians lack of belief in any other god but there own makes them also an atheist, To quote an old cliche, the only difference between an atheist and a christian is that an atheist lacks a belief in one more god than a christian.
