At WestConn, "severest disciplinary actions" promised against those who posted "hate-filled flyers"

The Hartford Courant said:
Police and federal agents are investigating "hate-filled flyers and inscriptions" left around Western Connecticut State University's campus Thursday night in Danbury.

It was not clear whether a student or "outside agitators" were responsible, but university President John Clark strongly condemned the materials and vowed to enforce the "severest disciplinary actions" regardless of whether students or someone off-campus made the flyers.

"Have no doubt that we are treating this as an attack on our university community and making every effort to see that those responsible are caught and properly punished, " Clark wrote in a letter published late Friday afternoon. "I am fully committed to the absolutely necessary goal this does not happen again. We must be ever vigilant to protect our university against these hateful attacks."

The flyers, typed and printed on white paper, were left around a residence and classroom hall just off the WCSU main green on the midtown campus on White Street in Danbury, university spokesman Paul Steinmetz said.

Sounds awful, don't it? They got the FBI involved along with local police to help catch the perpetrators.

The Hartford Courant said:
Clark slammed the incident as despicable, utterly unacceptable and disgusting and promised the school would punish whoever is found responsible, including expulsion if students were involved and even criminal or civil actions in court.

"I want to state directly and without equivocation that if any member of our university community is found to be party to these revolting actions they will be subject to the severest disciplinary actions, including dismissal as well as possible civil and criminal actions," Clark said.

Yikes. Whatever was printed on these flyers must be pretty bad. Prepare yourself for the most vile, revolting, disgusting hate speech you have ever experienced:

The Hartford Courant said:
One flyer read "It's OK to be white" and the other read "Islam is right about women," Steinmetz said.

That's it. Saying white people are ok is not only hate speech, but it's an "attack" which should be severely punished.

There sure are a lot of racists in the blue states.

John Clark is correct.

"One flyer read "It's OK to be white" and the other read "Islam is right about women," Steinmetz said."

Apparently that means that it is not OK to be white and Islam is not right about women?

Not really sure what either set means, but anyone who posts flyers is a bit nutty anyway.

Later in the story: "In early October, Yale University police began an investigation after someone painted a swastika above the word “Trump” outside the law school."

Defacing property seems more egregious to me.

1. Maybe the writer was expressing his/her fear that the shrinking Caucasian population will be treated unfairly in the coming decades.

2. The new American leaders who will be emerging at the local, state, and national levels will, I am confident, ask all Americans to treat our nation's remaining Caucasians with respect and kindness. Hopefully, the affirmative action laws will also be kept on the books for the benefit of our nation's new minority group.

I call them republicans.

Was there some crime or violation of school policy involved here? Or just outrage in response?
