A couple of hours after the Trump administration announced a new agreement with Mexico that will send asylum seekers back south after they ask the U.S. for protection, migrants and Mexican federal immigration officials in Tijuana were equally surprised by the news.

...worried how Tijuana would handle that many people needing food, housing and work. The migrant shelters have been full already, he said.

"What are we going to do?" one man from Nicaragua said. "If they don't want us in Nicaragua and they don't want us in the United States, what do we do?"

1. Great news.

2. If they seek asylum, apply in the country millions of Americans visit annually... Mexico. That’s international law... apply for asylum at the first safe country.

3. How will Mexico handle their Open Border problem? Their problem. Show us how it’s done. We’ve dealt with their Open Border for decades... let’s see how many day it takes for Mexico to control its southern border.

My guess... it will be days, not decades.

4. How will they get in to America? Apply like every other law abiding citizen. Also, see pt. 2 above.

Thank You Mr. President.

Now Democrats, it’s up to you to fund the wall.

The US/MX agreement will also act as a deterrent for future migrant caravans who feel entitled to receive asylum in their preferred country of choice.

How long will it take for some federal (activist?) judge to put a stop to that policy?

I think we can take the word “judge” out of that. They’re activists, not judges.

I’d love to make a pool on how long it will take for Mexico to close its southern border.

Maybe they'll be paying for that wall after all?
Such sweet irony... ;)

...what's ironic? The hypothetical scenario you invented and nobody has talked about?
