Protests are okay.
I said the "current protests and the way they turned out", i know protesting is ok, but im wondering how many deranged people who are totally lost and confused would support this madness that is going on right now, i just fail to comprehend beyond the simple troll that thinks this is in any way is helping anything and just costing people money, their business and their lives
Protests are okay.
Protests are okay.
The majority of Americans support the protests while only 1/3 support Trump's handling of the protests.

It's time to bring in the military!
We need to differentiate between the protests and the looting. The protesters are doing a great job, and I support them 110%. It really feels different this time around, more sixties-ish. I believe they will make a mark finally, especially if Biden wins in November. Sam Cooke says it best, below.Just wondering what people are thinking when they are watching these people burning down their own neighborhoods and killing and hurting other people.
For me, i think these people are nothing more than savages... and this is what happens when you have democratic governors/mayors preventing the police from doing anything at all about people burning buildings, hurting people and stealing non stop, there was literally no intervention for way too long and it snowballed out of control.
Its a total shame that this mans name has been destroyed and his imagine will be remembered as a ploy to steal and hurt innocent people, many of whom are from their own neighborhoods.
Many doubt the justice of our country, and with good reason. Black people see the repeated violation of their rights without an urgent and adequate response from American institutions.
[But] we know that lasting justice will only come by peaceful means. Looting is not liberation, and destruction is not progress.
This tragedy — in a long series of similar tragedies — raises a long overdue question: How do we end systemic racism in our society? The only way to see ourselves in a true light is to listen to the voices of so many who are hurting and grieving. Those who set out to silence those voices do not understand the meaning of America — or how it becomes a better place.
America’s greatest challenge has long been to unite people of very different backgrounds into a single nation of justice and opportunity.
We can only see the reality of America’s need by seeing it through the eyes of the threatened, oppressed, and disenfranchised.

As to the looters? Well, I grew-up in a place that had a shoot-to-kill order during the King riots. While I may not necessarily support going back to that, I do very much carry the same dim view of looting as my relatives & neighbors before me.
Its so baffling to me that people are literally watching idiots burning down their own community stores and black business... not to mention the violence and for what? Because a police officer made a mistake? not to mention how quickly the officer was detained and charged with murder..... it always drives me crazy how we pick out these 0.1% cases and treat them as if they are a common occurrence even though we clearly know that out of tens of thousands arrests that more white people are killed by police than black people....yet we sit here and pretend that there is some sort of "division" that these cops drive all night just to hunt black people....the only division i see is the constant race baiting going on while never rioting when a white person gets killed by the cops or any other race, that in itself is racist and discriminatory.

I do not support this poll. The original post makes the entire protesting process look like it is what happens after the sun goes down and the agitators come out to loot and pillage. That is not what the majority of the protests are about. That is an ugly, small portion of what is happening and conflicts with why people are protesting. The protests themselves do not destroy the image of George Floyd. The extremist groups and anarchist groups need to be stopped, but the protests are absolutely necessary. As President Bush said today:
The above is not as was given in his address. I made a few changes to highlight the main points. The full address can be seen here (scroll down past the summary in the article):George W. Bush calls for unity during George Floyd protests

Yeah, I'm for real. But I'm not going to get in a personal pissing contest in an opinion poll thread. Are you for real right now? Protesters doing a great job? Thats a pretty outrageous thing to say...Where do you think these people started at before they began looting and killing and burning **** to the ground? They didnt teleport thats for sure.... On top of that its the protesters job to keep their group members in check....if you see 5 people doing something that you're group should not be associated with you can easily stop 5 ppl from misbehaving if you are in a group of hundreds or thousands...not to mention if you dont want police presents to interfere you are responsible to handle those people... Plenty of videos of random people telling others to stop, very few of actual ****(early) days protesters, the ones who started like 24 hours after incident, those people are nowhere to be found.
Also i dont know why you think Joe Biden would change anything...he can hardly put 2 sentences together... im no left winger nor right winger, although on some agents i tend to lean right(im not hiding my views) but there is no denying that under Trump the country has had one of the best economies ever....I know the guy says some stuff that might not always resonate with the masses, but the guy is a strong leader.....if you disagree with such simple logic than clearly you(just speaking in general here not specific to your post) you are just extremely biased.. The amount of crimes and shady **** that Trump had to endure that was like 100% or 90% made up and false investigations are insane, ive never paid much attention to crap like this, but if anything i can get out of these 4 years is how corrupt and shady the Obama presidency/DNC was, the evidence that is coming out to this very day is stunning....
If Biden wins it will be because of pandering to the minorities, but i dont believe 1 bit that he will be as tough or smart when it comes to policies that benefit our country as Trump was.
A cop just made a mistake. That's all? So why is everyone making such a big deal about a little mistake?
Good lord, attitudes like this actually exist.
