I'm not really looking for debate on this as much as I want to make an effort to educate people. Sure, the military has screwed up in Afghanistan. We've pissed on bodies, burnt books, and one man has even committed pre-meditated mass murder. But we're not always bad. For every one of those stories you hear, much more like this happen. Its not a matter of foreign relations or "winning hearts and minds". Its about caring for your fellow human being, regardless of nationality, race, sex, etc. This man should be glorified for the hero he is. When I read about fellow brothers doing things like this, I tear up everytime. I don't care what anyone says, this generation of service member is the "greatest generation".
