he was likely unaware of DC laws as we seem to have no consistency in gun laws across the country. Even within a state.
A gun is for self protection and to stop tyrannical governments, nothing more, so what was the big deal?

Whoever's job it is to both approve, provide, and up the needed security for every SCOTUS justice right now - better make sure they are doing their job perfectly!!!

it's not the numbers, it's the ideology.

We have legit radicals on the bench, this has never been the case before.

Heller barely got 5 votes with 6 GOP judges on the court.
Row was a court with a GOP majority.

Today?

No need to put security for the right wing ones... They after all are advocates for a good guy with a gun... So they are most likely armed so why waste ressources on them?
 
I don't know. Could have meant there was one less vote to overturn Roe and more balance on the court. Moscow Mitch stole a justice from obama, and this could have meant a return of stolen property. I am trying to to learn to think more like Trump about these issues.
 
political violence or threatening to commit political violence is never the right answer, except under extreme circumstances, which I do not believe any possible ruling over RvW would qualify as.

I am glad they caught and detained him.

But our country is going to see a lot more of this over the next decade or three: political violence on both sides and political partisans making excuses for it on both sides via tut-tutting and whataboutisms.
