The violent posts appeared Friday on Parler, an unfiltered right-wing social media app, echoing President Trump’s unfounded claims that Democrats are stealing the election. They called for “death to all Marxist Democrats,” and urged followers to “take no prisoners” and “leave no survivors.”

They were all posted under the name and photo of Lang Holland, the police chief of Marshall, Ark.

When journalists and residents asked about the posts, Holland at first claimed they were fake, the Kansas City Star reported. But Marshall’s mayor said when he confronted Holland on Saturday, the chief apologized for the posts and then resigned.

There is obviously a very deep rift in this country that is only going to get wider.

Cops when their ability to bully the citizenry unchallenged tend to be rather knee jerked.

Read about Francisco Franco, if you’re a rightist police or military official be like Franco, quiet, seemingly loyal, waiting for the right moment

Most cops are professionals. But I would hate to run into one who had an attitude problem.

A successful conservative rebellion. Not many of those in history.
Franco is one of the things I point to when somebody tells me that the 'S' in NSDAP means Hitler was a leftist.

Franco and Hitler were near nothing alike politically. They despised each other.

Marshall has one of the last drive in movie theaters in Arkansas.

I had a head coaching interview there once.

Really. But Hitler sent troops and planes to support the rebellion of a man he despised and was nothing like politically. One wonders why.
Here's a thought. You either don't know what you're talking about or you do and you just made that up off the top of your head. They met during the war you know, the Cuadillo and the Fuhrer, to discuss Spain entering the war. If you word that just right you might be able to maintain the fiction that Hitler was a leftist with nothing in common with Franco but you're still left with the uncomfortable truth that Hitler made a big investment, a big gamble, in helping to a establish a conservative regime in a socialist country.

No, no one wonders why, Hitler judged a political crisis in Western Europe taking the energy of Britain and France to be in his interests.

that would be an incorrect thought.

they in fact did, what’s the relevance to anything I said?
If you word that just right you might be able to maintain the fiction that Hitler was a leftist with nothing in common with Franco
I didn’t say Hitler was a leftist, I said their regimes had next to nothing in common, maybe other then broad anti-communist stances. If you want to discuss why Hitler was a leftist we can do that some other time.
but you're still left with the uncomfortable truth that Hitler made a big investment, a big gamble, in helping to a establish a conservative regime in a socialist country.
It’s not uncomfortable, it’s fairly easy. The Spanish popular front government was close to the French popular front government but was despised by the British, the Spanish conflict was a wedge between France and Britain. Hitler did not establish a Nationalist Catholic regime in Germany. Hitler personally didn’t like Franco. In fact Franco really in no way participated in World War Two other then allowing warships to enter neutral ports in the Canaries
