Arizona university students demand administration to 'withdraw' Kyle Rittenhouse: 'killer off our campus'

Since you asked? Fox News has been slobbering all over him with Tucker Carlson leading the charge. Trump has lionized him. Hannity has ardently defended him. Charlie Kirk has plans to interview him for his radio show. It is expected he'll be invited to speak at CPAC. And of course the Q cultists in the GOP have offered him internships. History involving sucker punching a female. High school dropout. Broken home/parents with substance abuse issues. He's going to need better influences than FOX and the Proud Boys if he's going to stay out of trouble.
The spice must flow...

Somebody needs to teach these supposed college students the legal definition of the word murder.

Somebody needs to teach these supposed college students the legal definition of the word murder.
Why? Are they only allowed to call someone a murderer if it meets the legal definition?

Whoever wrote that petition sounds just like the black activist who went off the deep end in that video where the boys with the Police Lives Matter sticker trolled them in 'their' multicultural center.

For ASU's sake, I hope she graduates soon.

The same ASU students who conveniently ignore the prison inmates enrolled at the school?

About Prison Education Programming

ASU’s Prison Education Programming (PEP—formerly Prison English) begins with a belief that education is a right that inheres within our humanity. It is not a right that stops at a prison’s gates. Education needs to traverse borders and boundaries, including prison boundaries.

:poop:

Because it is so much better to to do nothing to rehabilitate in order to reduce recidivism.
The ignorance on the right has no limits.

Isn’t that why we have a legal definition? The idea that ASU should have a list of names of people ineligible to become (or remain) students is moronic. I doubt that these woke folks would ever seek to deny those actually convicted of crimes to enroll at ASU, yet they seem to want someone accused and found not guilty of a crime to be banned.

LOL.. There are tons of words that have legal definitions that have common usage. Good lord.. Who cares what the student group wants? There is no evidence ASU is even listening to them.

This thread is plenty of evidence that this idea is being listened to. I agree that ASU is unlikely to enact such a moronic admissions policy, but ‘woke’ voices are certainly being heard (aka listened to).

You missed the point on this one...

These students oppose Rittenhouse, who killed in self defense, but not actual convicted criminals attending their college.

Rittenhouse isn't even enrolled at ASU. But if he were, I doubt they would listen to these groups here. The most they'd have is if he had violated the student conduct rules.

Somebody needs to teach these supposed college students the legal definition of the word murder.
I would think they would be happy that one of the kids he killed was a child molester. Or is that why they are unhappy?

No reading between the lines. That's their position. They support a violent pedo arsonist being able to attack another minor.
No, they don't.
Nope...you made shit up.
I gave you an analogy to understand the hasty generalizations you continue to make. Analogies are made up. Referring to them with scatological euphemisms reflects an inability to deal with the issue.
Rittenhouse isn't part of the Boogaloo group.
Read the analogy again.
However, claiming that Rittenhouse is a murderer says that they do not thing Rittenhouse had the right to defend himself.
thing? Again, they never claimed that in the petition. If you're not reading between the lines then there must be a comprehension problem or the bias is so deep you don't see the actual words and add your own context.
No need to put those adjectives in "s. They are facts.
They are your opinions of a human being you did not know yet seem to despise.
People have the right to self defense. Successfully defending yourself doesn't make the other person a victim. Using your logic if a serial rapist is attacking another woman, and she pulls a gun and shoots her attacker, the attacker is now a victim in your book. Sorry, it doesn't work that way and if someone where to call that woman a murderer then they are siding with a serial rapist that was attacking another woman.
You don't seem to get analogies either. If you were using my logic you wouldn't need to resort to fallacious hyperbole, you would present evidence for your opinions instead.
If we're going to get specious about it, we're all killers. I've killed so many cows and pigs from eating meat, plants that produce fruits or vegetables. I'm killing shit left and right, and so is everyone else that has ever existed.
So Kyle is a killer. Thanks for that fact! Finally. ;)

Rittenhouse is a killer, even Fishking admitted so. See above post.

Who killed in self defense only after inserting himself into a situation where that self defense became necessary.

Why do you always leave the bolded part out?

That bolded above part applied to everyone there (during a riot). After all, the last person shot by KR had travelled twice as far from their home as KR did and was also armed. The only reason not to point that out seems to be that they were automagically transformed from being totally out of place and visibly armed to simply being a ‘victim’ of KR.

Because it's silly.

Rittenhouse was attacked. Period.

No, they don't.

I understood your analogy just fine, it was fallacioius.

Not opinions. Facts. Facts are not opinions. The guy is a convicted pedophile that had an active restraining order on him by his fiance for domestic abuse and he was literally in the act of arson, as shown on video. That you think facts are opinions indicates to me why you're having issues understanding the points here.
You don't seem to get analogies either. If you were using my logic you wouldn't need to resort to fallacious hyperbole, you would present evidence for your opinions instead.
Got it fine. My analogy better fits in a mirror to the Rittenhouse case. You had a serially violent individual going after another victim and was stopped. That's the core of the analogy reflecting the core of what happened with Rittenhouse. Those who are calling Rittenhouse a murderer are those who would call the women in my analogy a murderer, using their own logic.
So Kyle is a killer. Thanks for that fact! Finally. ;)
Yup...he killed some people in self defense. Happens a lot.

I understood your analogy just fine, it was fallacioius.
fallacioius?

If he was never convicted of arson then he is not an arsonist. Just like Kyle was not convicted of murder and shouldn't be called a murderer. So yeah, opinion.
Got it fine. My analogy better fits in a mirror to the Rittenhouse case.
You should clean that mirror. :giggle:

A seriously violent individual? Was he convicted of this or is it just more derogatory victim blaming after the fact.
And why the tendency to badmouth the deceased in this story if not to feel justified in supporting the young, white, vigilante type killer?

Claiming that one is capable of mimicking another's logic reminds me of this bit of wisdom - A foolish man can never understand what a wise man is saying because the foolish man will always translate those words into something he can understand.
Yup...he killed some people in self defense. Happens a lot.
Killed some people because he was a foolish young man who bought into the far right propaganda of fear and loathing and then decided to take part in the festivities that night, even supplying his own brand of fireworks! ;)

If he was never convicted of arson then he is not an arsonist. So yeah, opinion.
He's not going to be convicted of anything because he's dead so that's a dumb comment. What we do know is was assisting in pushing a dumpster that was set on fire, that's literally on video.
A seriously violent individual? Was he convicted of this or is it just more derogatory victim blaming after the fact.
And why the tendency to badmouth the deceased in this story if not to feel justified in supporting the young, white, vigilante type killer?
"Serially violent", meaning he had been violent on multiple occasions. This is just statement of facts.
Claiming that one is capable of mimicking another's logic reminds me of this bit of wisdom - A foolish man can never understand what a wise man is saying because the foolish man will always translate those words into something he can understand.
A bunch of words to say that you cannot refute the validity of my analogy.
Killed some people because he was a foolish young man who bought into the far right propaganda of fear and loathing and then decided to take part in the festivities that night, even supplying his own brand of fireworks! ;)
Huh...really? But you just said that you can't claim to understand why someone is doing something but here you are doing it for Rittenhouse. Weird. Oh...and what far-right propaganda are you referring to that you're claiming he bought into? Be specific.

Fringe groups. Its tough to be a socialist in AZ. They should go to school at Berkely. Oh wait, they would never get in.

Be interesting to see how this turns out. Will the university respect our judicial system or cave to socialist who have no respect for it or for our constitution. What they decide will be very telling.

"The Arizona State University Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, Multicultural Solidarity Coalition, and MECHA de ASU are all calling on the Arizona State University administration to take action against Rittenhouse by withdrawing him from the university and releasing a statement against him."

The four groups are calling him "Murderer Kyle Rittenhouse."
