Ariel Castro pleads not guilty

What's your opinion on this?

What's your opinion on this?

My first opinion is I don't give a **** what some random guy thinks while he sits in his living room.

My second opinion is just gorilla tape the guy's eyelids open for the mere few moments per week that his attention is actually required. The ****er is given license to control a courtroom with his eyelids. Why is that?

Who cares if he rots in jail or is put out of his misery, at this point? Just get through the process and let's move on with our lives.

Thank you random idiot in his living room who doesn't even get the right to claim not guilty and have a trial is one of the most important trights we have as citizens, and that if dumbass did not have that right obama could arrwest him and toss him in jail without him ever getting to defend himself in court. This is why conservative jackoffs who go batcrap buggynuts over Obama and want to give up their rights just to spite him are ridiculous.

He has a right to claim not guilty, and just because he says it does not mean he is not guilty. it just means we will go to trial or he will perhaps get a plea deal. It is part of the legal process and if you are ever caught up in it falsely you will want every protection you can get.

The death penalty thing is a huge stretch for his crimes. I am personally up for adding extreme cases like this to the lists of crimes you could get death for, but it is not there, so his punishment has to coincide with the law. Not to mention life in prison is not a friggen cakewalk especially when you are like him and probably cannot find a max security prison that can cater to putting him in general pop. he will be put in solitary for his own protection, and that is hell and a half. Most of the things that would make prison somewhat bearable like being able to converse with people or occasionally play a game of cards, or trade with other prisoners for something that might be beneficial to you is gone. There is a good argument to be made that solitary confinement is far worse than a quick painless death. Plus given his crime it would be a great punishment to lock him in a room for decades on end with no hope of escape.

As for him closing his eyes it probably has to do with him being addressed by a female judge. If you look at his crime he likes being in control over women, and this appears to be one of the few ways he can take control in his situation and tell the judge she does not control him. The guy knows he will not see freedom again. Contempt of court is probably not an effective punishment. The judge getting mad and screwing up might lead to a technicality which could get the case tossed, so he really has every motivation to act like an ass. Handle it by the book, deal with his BS, and put him in a solitary cell for the rest of his life. See how fast his tune changes when he tries that with the COs and they take away anything he has to help him pass the time.

oh, and stop promoting dumbasses who wish to get all of our important rights taken away because they do not like Obama.

Ariel Castro plead not guilty because he is scared to death that he is going to spend the rest of his life as the prison bitch. That would be much better than the death penalty. I'm glad that's off the table, because he will have the rest of his life, in between getting laid by various butt bandits, to reflect on what he did.
