All you have to do is Google "free Koran".I would've, but I really have no clue where to find one and wasn't that motivated.
I love the idea, though.
Nazis were fond of it.
This has generally been frowned upon by the American public until recently.
What an ironic and tragic twist of fate. Merely calling it a "right" changes the whole thing. It doesn't take much to justify things does it?
Yet we can't find ourselves understanding why other civilization's fanatics can justify their behaviors.
I say we re-create the world.
I would've, but I really have no clue where to find one and wasn't that motivated.

And you lose the argument because, in your ignorance you broke Godwin's Law.
I have no problem with people's "rights" to burn books, I simply think that a person that does so has serious problems. If ideas in the book make the reader so uncomfortable that they feel the need to destroy the book, then that individual/group has, like I said, some serious problems. Self worth issues, whatever...
I understand "why" people want to burn books or kill people... but like a broken record, those groups/individuals have serious problems. I am not arrogant enough to think that my ideas are the best, just that burning a book of opposing ideas is stupid.
I'll tell you what, mate. Why? What about the idea would make you like or love it? The book is an inanimate object. All you are hoping to do is upset people. To what end? Are the terrorists going to "hear your message" and care the slightest if they even get it or are you simply going to enrage a huge group of people that think that this book is holy? Seriously, explain yourself because I would really be interested in hearing a reasonable reason to burn the books.
I'm not sure he was using the Nazi line as an "argument". He is merely pointing out that Nazi's burned books. Sounds quite reasonable since it is just an observation...
Godwin's Law
It states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."[3][2] In other words, Godwin put forth the sarcastic observation that, given enough time, all discussions—regardless of topic or scope—inevitably wind up being about Hitler and the Nazis.
Sure, those people want to burn some korans for no other reason than they know it'll piss of some muslims, it's gained them some camera time, and it's gratifying to them in some juvenie emotional way.
What's interesting isn't those people, it's the people who want them to restrain themselves that are interesting.
He violated the rule, and yes, his comparison was with the Nazis. Which, btw, was a false comparison because the Nazis were the govenment of a nation, not a small group of private citizens.
Well, that's exactly all I have stated. Except I actually added substance as to why it is "pathetic."
Maybe it has nothing to do with cowardice for most part and everything to so with sound tactics against a religious enemy. This war is a thinking man's game. Only the dumbasses are going to lose.
You can't have it both ways. If the vast majority of Christians don't have to feel embarrassed about their fanatics then why should the vast majority of Muslims? Our enemy is distinct, not faceless.
What's pathetic is the desire of alleged americans to stifle someone else's freedom.
No, it's roots are in cowardice. You don't want someone to exercise their freedom to do something because you're afraid someone else will get unhappy.
You're suffering from the Let the Wookie Win Syndrome.
I didn't ask for it both ways, I don't give a crap if they're embarassed or not. If they take violent action against us, they should die, quickly or slowly, I don't care, so long as they wind up feeding pigs.
I'll tell you what, mate.
If it pisses you off, that's reason enough for me.
What's pathetic is the desire of alleged americans to stifle someone else's freedom.

And if I was ignorant, I'd say nothing about your use of the phrase "civil war" to describe WWI. Why you deliberately used an obviously false term is something for you to figure out, you're probably the only one that cares.
Yeah, I kinda doubt that the man who expanded government and signed the PATRIOT Act is smarter than me, but I'm smarter than everyone who voted for him.
Who'd you vote for?
Yeah, whatever. I see that attitude all the time from the ignorant.
The enemy is, among other groups, that set of people that insist Americans should give up personal liberty in a vain attempt to appease mortal enemies.
You're in that group, little buddy.
I have no problem with people's "rights" to burn books, I simply think that a person that does so has serious problems.
And you lose the argument because, in your ignorance you broke Godwin's Law.
You decided to use the lamest of the lame arguments.
And yet you want to pretend omniscience, which is typical of Godwin Law violators.
And when you become less ignorant, you'll realize that in a free society there's a difference between an act being "frowned upon" and prohibited.
America is still mostly free.
Free enough so men can ignore the frowns of the Messiah in the White House.
Here's a conceptual nugget for you:
It's their freedom, they're not required to justify what they do with it to anyone, including you, Hillary Clinton, General Petreaus, or the Messiah.
In fact, the President, the Secretary of State, and the General are all obligated to defend that man's freedom to burn that stupid book without once demanding he explain himself to them.
I don't recall asking anyone else's fanatics to justify themselves. I don't care their reasons, or if they have any at all. If they take violent action against us, I want them dead. It's as simple as that.
Well, e-mail Allah and tell him to get moving, then.
I'm not sure he was using the Nazi line as an "argument". He is merely pointing out that Nazi's burned books. Sounds quite reasonable since it is just an observation...

C3PO gave some great advice... but what does burning a book have to do with killing terrorists? That one is a little beyond my comprehension, to be honest.
You are wrong in more than one way.
Only if we decide that we too want to "clearly have no morals," do we act "like Bin Laden and Amadinajihad." As Mahatma Gandhi said, "An eye for an eye, leaves the whole world blind."
And to pretend that this hate-mongering fool in Floriduh is somehow taking a shot at just terrorists and not an entire significant sector of the world's population, is blatantly and deliberately false.
Ghandi is correct.....
Ghandi is correct; however, the barbarian apes that run some of the more nafarious middle eastern countries have yet to grasp this fact. As such, they have NO morals, and they have NO BUSINESS telling others what morals they should live by.
Fortunately, you are insignificant and are merely one of the faceless protected under those of us who have their heads firmly planted on top of our shoulders rather than up our asses.
Keep assuming...
Just where does the ****ing line in the sand get drawn? Between the protest over the this koran burning where members of this so-called peaceful religion chanted 'death to Americans' and some POS Iman declaring that if we do not allow the mosque to be built near the ground of the 9/11 murders there will be 'retribution' from the radical side or Islam.
I see our nation seemingly cater to muslims in the hope that they will play nice with us eventually...BULL****.
Does anyone truly believe that they will play nice and tolerate us if we admit defeat to them and bend over backwards and give them whatever they ask for in the name of tolerance?
